Also, I am sure I had read that people who converted in earlier lists could transfer money through Netbanking. But it seems that for the 3rd list, only Bank Transfer is allowed.
Please if anyone can confirm the same.

Can you please advise if WL-13 now stands a good chance for converting in the 3rd list? I have to decide about my notice period n the next couple of days , so I feel it's worth the risk.

Also, in your experience, are any buffer calls given while clearing the 1st waitlist? I guess that's my biggest concern.

What are the chances of converting WL/GE/159 and if there are chances then in which waitlist i can expect? Pls do reply... its really important for me as I have to take a decision about my notice period?

Waitlist numbers are according to your category,which means you are WL 159 amongst General Candidates..Last Year WL moved more than 150 but there are lotsa factors to be taken into account before predicting this year's movements dude.

@ssinharoy : Yeah I got the point that it is by category. But my question was that my WL being 159, does it mean I am 159th among Gen candidates or that 159 is a generated number but it includes all categories, so I could be 120th or something among Gen candidates?

I am sorry if I am digressing a lot here. I guess no one would know this answer except the admissions office themselves. But I don't recall going in this post going through 2 same WL numbers for different categories.
