i never compared TISS with any of Symbi institutes at any point of time. but still i am of the opinion that you should think 100 times when you have already made some concept about some institute. i don't know whats your reservation about TISS but frankly speaking its amazing to find a post after such a long time.

i am not replying to defend SIIB or myself, i just replied you to remind you about the power of politeness, try this in your life, you will succeed. i hope you will learn in future.

I assume most of you would have arrived in Pune, the seniors(gee, I prefer the 9-11 batch moniker :D) as one would have guessed by now, are currently in various parts of India for their summer internships.Classes for Semester 3 are to start on June 14, so one will see the seniors back by then. Till then, the folks(like me) who are in Pune doing the internships extend a warm welcome to the new batch. You would probably catch a bunch of us at dinner time near the cafetaria for post-dinner gupshup sessions.(9 pm -10 pm usually) Hope to meet some of the '10-12 batch in the coming days.

certainly u r best person there for juniors to interact with. at least buddies would be inspired to study till the date me and my kinda guys land there.

i dont know from where are you collecting intern stats for EnE batch. as if now, all are busy in their companies in different parts of india. few companies like Forbes Marshall, Thermax are in the frey. i don have the complete list with me but you can reach to ur seniors when you will be in college on 1st as many EnE guys have summers in Pune itself.

its been long since i had posted coz of my internship.

!) search CDs if you have spare time.
2) contact your fellow SIIBians for the PDF file.

guys help him out and somebody plz send him those valuable PDFs.

read Statistics carefully as you will have surprise test (no more a surprise though)

I was waitlisted for AB at 14.
But i am yet to receive any further info form them.
I was hoping to clear in first waiting list as many predicted on this forum.
Do you have any idea if they have crossed me and shortlisted others
for this course??

dont worry SIIB won't surpass you.
they will certainly attend you before reaching others and for this you can call at the numbers given on your brochure and as far as i know, very soon 2nd list is likely to come so keep your fingers crossed,

else, plan a party as i don see any reason for you getting rejected at WL14.

Is DD to b made for the amount of 2.25lacs inclusive of e-module or shud it b separately issued!!

you can make a DD of Rs.2.25lcs for convenience otherwise you can break it to 1.75+.5 lcs if you can save some money over the exchange charges (though saving is negligible).
