@abhi.iimb Hi Abhi, can you please let us know the profiles/roles/designations offered in the below finance related streams - Asset Management/Corporate Finance/Investment Banking/M & A ? Also please let me know which of these streams would be more closely aligned with a CFA charter from the CFA Institute. This will greatly help me in writing my SOP.

Guys ... can we share the WAT/PI preparation strategy ? Seniors can u guide us on those lines ? on what is expected out of us and how to prepare specifically to IIM-B ? I have 3 yrs of work exp ... should I open my engineering books now ??

I find SC's tough and RC's manageable. Try the RC's from Aristotle & read nytimes to get hold of good content.
Any suggestions for SC's ? Currently doing MGMAT and OG's .

P:S I m taking up the exam in Aug 2nd week!

yeah MGMAT is pretty good for SC. For SC the strategy that I follow is to read the sentence actively and scan for any known errors and then scan answer choices which have corrected those errors and narrow down. Also I look for the differences among answer choices and relate them with the rules. My accuracy is averaging between 80 to 90 % in SC. Only with modifier errors am facing difficulty. Again that shows my lack of reading habit. Need to work on that.

Hi ... I gave my GMAT last Jan and got 600. Booked my slot on Sept 5 for another attempt ... Took a mock from Kaplan today . scored 660 (Q 46 , V 37 ).
In verbal CR is my Forte and RC is my nightmare. Any suggestions to improve my RC score ? Also in SC , the modifier errors are very difficult to spot on . Any tips on that also are welcome. anyone taking GMAT the same day ?

I belong to such category of people ==> No Finance Background(S/W professional ) , CFA L-2 PASSED and No MBA. Though, i have done FRM previously (a certifed FRM);

I am what i am because of this forum.. this is my first post , i just watched it since last 2 yrs, but never taken venture to share or ask anything out of shyness or whtever u may say.
