@WhiteWNNoise, As part of the ISB Admissions interview panel as an alum, can assure none of the interviews are ever rushed upon. Team always make sure to spend fair amount of time on each candidate. So don't worry! Cheers, Vibhuti

I have a theory regarding the interview panels. Let me know what you puys think.
The interview panels consist of Adcom, Alumni & Faculty.
The faculty I think were very active during the term break. Now that the classes are back in motion, I doubt they will be able to spare that much of time for the interviews.
The adcom guys will always be there, be it a weekend or a weekdgay interview.
Incase of Alumni, almost all of them will be working and will be under office pressure and deadlines. Plus include the travel as part of their cramped schedules. So how many alumni's do you think are called for being part of the admission process. I think no Alumni can take more than 2 days of hols from their work (this is my thought). Why I think this is because some guys have reported that the interviewers were anxious to get over with the interviews so that they cud take a flight back or that they were getting late & the interviewees were scheduled with some other panel. To make the best of the time availability of alumni, most of the interviews should be held only on weekends. On weekdays the number of interviews should be lower and should generally be handled by Adcom guys.
@Taterway Based on the experience you have shared here, my feeling is that they were trying to check two things as your years of experience is on low side: 1. Quality of your work experience 2. Your goal clarity In my opinion, you have done a good job! All the best.

Folks, I am an entrepreneur and their is a trade fair of my industry in Hyderabad which I have to attend on 25th Nov. I am submitting my app this week and enterting i/v location as HYD. Would be a dream if I get a call for the 26/27 November weekend. Both business purposes will be served in one visit.
Anyways, I wanna ask in case I don't get an i/v will it be a good time to campus visit on those dates ? Are their any formalities to setup a campus visit or I just have to stroll in the campus and walk around ?
Otherwise you can get in touch with Adcom and request them to let you attend any of the classes happening on the day of your visit to Hyderabad on this email ID: pgpadmissions@isb.edu
If you want to just go and walk around in the campus, you can do it anytime.
Interviews are not being postponed in Delhi. They are happening well on time. I would say start the preparation, don't wait for the invite. ISB normally gives interview invites just 5-7 days in advance.
People have started receiving call for 29th at Hyd & still no call for Delhi being reported that are scheduled from 28th. Like Kolkatta I hope Delhi doesn't get postponed. Anyhow I suppose they can't shift it beyond 15th Nov.:sneaky:

ISB normally gives interview invites 5-7 days in advance. Since Delhi interviews are planned from 28 - 31 October. You should expect interview invites within next 1-2 days.

When we say what ISB will help, Are we referring to just a top notch MBA(IIM, ISB etc) institute helping the candidate to realise his/her future plans. OR ISB has some distinct and unique attributes which can cater and help the candidatate to realise the future plans. If the answer is Yes, can somebody list down those distinct attributes ...
Your answer should constitute both:
How MBA will help you achieve your future plans? Also, how ISB specifically will help you in the same?
I would like to disagree over here. It is possible that somebody is working with an NGO full time and taking no salary for it. @avictory - Full time work experience is what you do for a living, what earns you your daily bread. Volunteer work for NGO will be looked at as extracurricular experience.
On the contrary, if you meant that you are working for an NGO(with a position and salary), then that is full time experience.
I would like to disagree over here. It is possible that somebody is working with an NGO full time and taking no salary for it. It will be counted as full time experience if you are working everyday with that organisation on regular basis spending 7-8 hours and not working with any other organisation formally.
I am from the ISB class of 2011 and I had classmates who had NGO experience which was counted as full time that too without any pay.
