Sorry bro but you cant send the DD and acceptance letter without seeing ur offer letter because in acceptance letter you have to write the letter number and that letter number is different for all the candidates . So downloading sample offer letter will not gonna work. You have to wait for your offer letter bt yes in the mean time you can make the DD as we can provide you the details regarding that . Please read my post on page number 19 or 18 , i m not sure about the page number but there you will get all the information related to DD. If you want i can repost that

Be quick ASAP.
Download the sample offer letter. Fill the Acceptance form, and send it along with DD.
I contacted the Admission Office, and they said that if you have not received the Admission Letter, then leave the Letter Number and Dated areas blank. And don't forget to write your name behind the DD.

Contact admission office tomorrow and confirm this again. Forms without Letter number should do fine.

It is a good practice to write your name and address (or CAT reg. number) behind the DD, so that it does not gets lost.

Now here comes the PnB problem again =__=
I visited the main branch of Punjab n National bank today and the manager told me that they * can't make a DD for the IIT Roorkee branch (Branch code 4044) because the Online system doesn't accepts 4044 as code *

The only option to this problem was to make a DD for the Roorkee BT Ganj branch (Branch Code 0407).
Any Help in this matter? I have already made a DD payable at Roorkee BT Ganj Branch.
