but what I am feeling is while converting CPI to % upto one decimal point ,I had written 76% while it shud be 75.6%.....chalega kya bhai????

From my past experiences of PI's. . . nobody delves into such details of precision . . .

So, don't get paranoid about this . . . It's ok . . . It's not like you will be disqualified for this small mistake . . .

hey guys...I am not sure but I have done a little mistake while filling forms of CAT, XAT and other colleges.Instead of 7.56 as my CPI , I had written 7.6....:(....will this effect my candidature?? I have seen on CAT website but found no option for editing. What about other colleges?? plz help

SPJIMR comes up with two lists- One is for profile shortlisted students, and other for CAT/XAT scores.

Lot of my friends from my engg college (just out of college i.e. fresher) are currently studying in NM, Mumbai.
Concentrate on clearing the exam. 100 people will tell you 100 different things.

Finally after 3 years of CAT, Cofee, Late nights... and a lot of PG.... I have got through S P Jain 6TH LIST :)

The story thus follows.

I was working in office, anxious about the MDI waitlist movement... When the phone rang... and I picked up... and the lady on the other side said "Hello I am speaking from S P Jain Institute of..."... and I knew its a call for admissions!

Puys I had given up hope after seeing the 3rd, 4th and 5th waiting lists being released on the website without my name in them. But finally I GOT IT

Cat %ile: 98.57
Profile: Mech Engg (8.5 from MIT Manipal
Working in L&T; Power, Baroda in project management (2 years)
Extra currics: musician, literary enthusiast.

Seniors and fellow "spinners" (still gotta get used to this )... see u all very soon...Can't wait to begin the next 2 years of my life...

And to all the fellow puys... those who struggle and persevere will only bear the fruits of success... but there is a little something called "lady luck"... and she will favour those who toil on further till they make it through to the other side...
