Just one more day to go for the second list to come up..I hope SIMC follows the time-schedule and does not extend the release of second list.. Just cant wait nymore..

Hope they allow us some extension. Loan application takes about more than 2 weeks itself :(

Congrats Sonal for the convert.. Do not worry about the loans as you will be required to pay only the part payment to SIMC for confirming your seat and then you can proceed for your loan application which need to be sanctioned before the program starts i.e before June.. Also can you tell me whether you are for MBA or MMC?? and wht is your cumulative score.

Well... Its kinda complicated scenario...

1) It is the second time that I have appeared for MBA entrance exams, So I am kind of Highly Motivated to do MBA this time around.

2) I come from the relevant field of business, that is Advert & Event Management, so doing MBA from SIMC do make sense for me.

Hence, My decision would be influenced by the above mentioned factors, which might or might not apply to you or others.

But irrespective of this I would like to say a few facts regarding SIMC,
1) For 2011 Batch the Intake has been marginalized to 80 persons, which is considerable reduction from last year & year before that. This would eventually lead to better Quality of Batch, Better Quality of competition & finally better Placements.

2) The new Director of SIMC, Mr chandan Chatterjee is a former MICAN administrator, this will surely help SIMC grow further

3) SIMC from last year onwards have added a position of Chairperson - Placements for better Industry integration, this initiative again should help people get placed in better profiles with better remuneration.

..... So considering all the Above mentioned facts, I would say that SIMC would not be that a bad choice after all,
And If I talk about myself, the answer would most probably be... YES - I would seriously consider SIMC as an Option.

All the above is true my friend.. Since you have calls from SIBM_B nd SIIB as well so i was just askin whther u will join SIMC if u hav all the 3 converts.. This will atleast give us an idea that whther ther will b vacant seats left for people in waitlist or not...
