Even I received a letter from IIMB asking me to confirm that I do not belong to the Creamy Layer under OBC.Incase If PPl get a call from IIMB when will the whole selection process will commence and end.

Hey i have just got a mail from simsr telling that i am waitlisted in IB course and have to confirm my seat befor 5th May.
I am confused. I have 3 questions which are very important for me.

1> Can we opt for dual specialization ? say IB and Marketing?
2> approximately how many IB seats are filled up? is their any chances for me to get into PGDM?
3> Will i face any difficulties in the future for IB course? will job switching in different sectors be as simple as in PGDM in the future? ?

Pl find below the solutions
1.Refer to Page No5 On the admission brochure, PGDM dual specialisation is very well possible but you need a minimum of 20 ppl opting for the same to commence the process.

2.no body Even the Kj Puys will not be able to ans your q2.It is one of the top secret maintained by the institute.even I inquired twice about the No of seats vacant and they were not giving any reply.

3.Regarding job switching if you are speaking about switching between companies very well possible as major cos will have their Import/Export Wing.

But if you mean from one stream to the other say Export marketing to local sales/Finance/Operations I don't think it will be wise to do so after spending two tears in specializing International Business.

TVN47 IS FINALLY JOINING KJ.wl 103 got cleared:-P:-P:-P:-P:-P

EXCERPTS OF WL MOVEMENT

1.The strength was around 60-70 and the wl nos were raging from 1-164.

2.Pl note that the ppl present were scattered in WL nos i.e 1,28,34,45,.....

3.My Friend with WL153 got cleared easily and still the count was on.

4.All the converts were only for PGDM only

5.Again "LOSERS ARE ONLY THOSE PPL WHO DID NOT TURN UP JUST FOR THEY LOST HOPE"

6.PUYS the second WL will be out very soon.


About Kj Infra:

I have to admit that KJ has got a decent campus and a Damn good Hostel.The hostel is a new one with triple sharing basis(3beds/3 study tables/3 wardrobes/3 storages).The added advantage is each roon has got its own Attached Bathroom.

Such a Breezy place it will obviate the need for a fan.:angel:

I was interacting with a Senior there who was cool and spent around 20 Mins with me:tongue:

Also the new mess is being constructed in the Hostel and should be operational by the time we join.
So Puys "In Life never ever Lose hope till you move to the core.I clearly know the calculation PPL did it goes like this - There are only 120 Seats in PGDM Mine is 100+ or say even 150+ If I have to join all the PPL who are selected has to withdraw.But this statement has the following flaws.

1.Pl note that all the 120 who were offered calls are likely to have a Better calls elsewhere.Thats how the movement is rapid.

2.Even in the WL as mentioned earlier PPL are not present in the exact order and the Nos are scattered.

3.Still We can except some withdrawals as I think TISS/BIM final calls are not out.(KJ will act as a Back Up)

4.Remember the full bunch of IB is still ripe.

I have made the hard decision of not joining SIMSR...so, looking on the brighter side, some good news for the wait-listers of the PGDM course...!!

I shall miss ull guys...n Im sure you guys shall rock KJ Som and add to its glitterous history...hope to see some of ull in June if time permits...tvn, maybe a few drinks with ya..!!!
