May b coz they need funds for the Infrastructure..
Also its AICTE rule that if one withdraw admission b4 commensement of course den colg cant deduct more den 1000/- (One thousand)...but since GLIM is not approved by AICTE..de can do their manmani....If dis is so, den i dont think dis colg wil ever get approval from AICTE..

2 months back i too was in the same state refreshin the mailbox every now n then
for the R1 results... the isb site had the date for R1 result as dec 15...though there were some rumours of it bein announced on dec 9 th...then dec 10th...so on...then on the 12th dec at 6:30 in the evenin while i was returnin home in my company bus i received an SMS sayin "congrats u ve been ...admit..ISB" tats all i read...dint even read it properly...immediately wanted to shout in the bus n throw an attitude but ended up callin friends n family...mom told me to crosschk if som1 has played a prank...finally returned home n cked the mailbox to confirm

so guys..the next 2-3 days r gonna be really tuff to spend for u...keepin in mind the R1 results u guys can expect it by tom or wed i hope...till then u cant help the anxiety

HKUST is ranked higher. Even the FT rankings rate HKUST to be in the top 20 in the world.

However, HKU was started about 4 years back and seems to be a fast growing bschool. The curriculum is gr8 + u also get a chance to do one term in either chicago GSB or LBS (not as exchange student, but as a part of ur curriculum itself).

My personal view - Both institutes are best suited for careers in finance in the Asian market.

Congrads on the admit, Glad to get in touch with someone from my batch ;-)/ After you sent the DD did you enter the DD details in the offer letter acceptance page online. If you did the same and accepted the offer you will will receive the mail in a day or two. I paid my deposit through DD too and within a day of my submitting the details online I got the receipt letter.

I entered the details on the link and accepted the offer on Tuesday and couriered the DD on wednesday(DD reached ISB on thursday-confirmed by DTDC)...still havent got any response frm ISB...when i tried calling them they dint respond properly....

I m not sure what to do now since we have very less time available for 27th deadline n if they get bac on wed that they havent received the DD or something i wont know wat to do ??:

I have got admission into ISB in R1. I had sent the DD for acceptance fee and it reached ISB on Thursday afternoon (acc to the online trackin thing for DTDC)...But i still havent got any confirmation from ISB about the receipt of the acceptance fee. All the ppl I know got the confirmation just 1 day after they paid. Also I learnt that ISB was working on Saturday...The last day for the payment is this thursday n tom is a holiday too ??:

Hey Guys.....Just outa curiosity......anyone with 2 years work ex who made it? I only see people around 25 years who've got admits........i am 23 , anyone this young with an admit? I am guessing my work ex was too less....apart from the fact that the interview wasnt terrific.....

And any email id to get feedback from ISB as to why i was turned down?

Hi Guys!! Congrats to those who have made it to ISB and for those who haven't.... Well I can only say Join the Club because I also have NOT got through. I got a reject.. Feels bad man but can't help... Life goes on... I will have to search for other greener pastures... Neways best of luck to u all.
