a quick question about the admissions form. I have already given my GMAT in 2008, however my score was not too good and I am planning to write the exam again in August. For the form submission, I have mentioned the GMAT ID but do I need to mention all other exam related details? Or I can come back later to the form and add the same? (before 31st August)

you have a good profile ( EC, Acads, Experience, GMAT - all are in line with the batch average ). Please make sure that you get your application reviewed by 2-3 close friends for clarity. Follow the word limits very strictly. Choose IM/Mktg spec .. you should look forward to interview call if you package your application properly.

Regarding the essays that SP Jain has... there are 2 with word limit of 900 characters.

In the first essay we need to show/describe some incident or achievement which shows our versatility. Now what I am confused is, since the word count is very small (900) do we need to describe one achievement in detail or we need to enumerate various achievements.

Same goes for the other essay too.

I gave my GMAT in August 2008. With the aim to apply in B-schools this year I deposited a sum of 20,000/- at IMS towards GMAT application consultancy. Due to some family problems I am not able to continue the application process.
As this amount was paid towards the GMAT application consultancy provided by IMS they have agreed to get this amount transferred to another persons name who is interested in joining the IMS for the GMAT application consultancy or GMAT classroom + consultancy or correspondence + consultancy.
This amount can be used at any of the IMS centres nationwide and the transferring also requires just a single visit to any IMS centre. Also the amount can be used not only this year but in any consecutive years.
I am ready to adjust the amount with 18,000/-. If anyone is interested please pm me and leave me your email ID or contact number and I will contact you.
