Well that's what is my concern. Being closer to the tech ecosystem is the major advantage with UC Irvine. But Maryland is better in rankings and also in Entrepreneurship.

Got admitted to Irvine. Applied for the Apr-1 deadline. Now I am stuck between Smith School of Business and UC Irvine. Entrepreneurship and Technology focus are my major criterion. Can anyone here Help me choose between the two.

I did apply in Round 4 i.e the Mar 19 deadline and I have also finished an interview with an alumni in Delhi. Awaiting a decision from them which is due on May 3rd.

This is to all the fellow admits who submitted their delcaration of finances form or who received a i-20 from UMD. Can you guys tell me what is the total amount of finances that one should show in the certificate of finances? And how do we split it up for first year and second year?

Anybody from Hyd who got into UMD and who are joining? I would like to catch up and get some info about the next steps.

Founded an NGO 2 yrs back. Healthcare and Education primary areas of concentration. Now a 43 member team.

I applied for the Mar 1st deadline. Submitted my app on 26th Feb. Received an Interview invite on Mar7th. But Interview dates were only available from Apr1st. So scheduled for Apr 6th. Any suggestions guys. I know that the chances in the final round are very meager. Just want to give it my best shot.

My interview was regular telephonic interview. Not on Skype.

Rocket Pitch is a simple 3 minute pitch that a Babson MBA student presents before a committee of VC's, Angels and may be some Babson Faculty about a new entrepreneurial idea.

From what I could remember these are the interview questions. Was generic and you find more questions from the accepted.com.

1. Can you briefly tell me about your career progression.
2. What are you short term and long term goals
3. What would you do if a team member a not contributing to the team.
4. How will you motivate your team members
5. What MBA? Why Babson?
6. What differentiates Babson from other schools according to you.
7. How would contribute at Babson both inside and outside the community.
8. What would you do if your were given a billboard in downtown Boston?
9. You must have heard about Rocket Pitch. (Yes was my answer here). I am on my way to the ad-com office and will be submitting my report about the interview. I want you to present me with a Rocket Pitch as to why Babson should take you.
10. Do you have questions for me?

Was a good 40 mins. I guess the interviewer was latin american, so there was quite a bot of accent flowing around. For a couple of questions I had to ask him twice and thrice. Don't know if it's good or bad. But I felt I royally screwed up my chances.
