@ others who would convert in next lists : try to deposit the dd in person. else use dhl. speed post is a little sluggish in updating the status. never experienced this problem before. also saturday was holiday for iit bombay. that may have caused the inconvenience.

i had sent my application form and dd via speed post on friday from pune.
it reached the post office of powai on saturday morning.
after that there is no status update on the tracking tool.

these are the last 3 updates:

any one else who faced similar problem?
what does the status on admission portal chane to ? right now it shows "confirmed".

have sent scanned copies of dd and form.

same problem..have been calling to academic office also no response from them..

on satday's and sundays does the SMS/MAIL process is done?? tensed as no one is picking up the phone and the fact that i have resigned from the job is making me more nervous.. seniors please help..

i have posted the DD and acceptance letter..it has been delivered yesterday according to INDIA POST site..but did not receive any acknowledgement(sms/mail) from the colg...wen can i expect that...

waitlist 17 from 42 at iit bombay... any hopes for me ??

initially mine was wl-30.now wl-5...6 seats already filled up...and..2ppl are gng to take sure shot admission...so..that will leave around 10 seats...for which 1+17=18ppl shd opt out for u...but u can never be sure of anything...it might get converted and it may not...depends on our luck dost..tumara chacnes 50/50 hai ..mera 60/40..thats wat i think....lets hope for the best..ATB
