I am planning to start the prep from coming weekend. MBA first semester is proving to be very hectic. Hopefully I will get more time for myself and CFA in some time to come. What do u do Anuj, do u work or study?

This is really the kind of thread I was looking for. I am planning to give CFA level 1 on June 2011. Right now I am doing my MBA, first yr. Planning to make a transition to Finance.

You will realize the scholarship aspect once u will get ur admit. If finance is what u r looking to specialize in, BC stands out between the two.

Admission decisions are not delayed. They have been pretty fast in case of most of the admits I know. But I really question their judgments on scholarships.

One of the most prominent reasons that most of us did not accept the BC offer is that BC did not followed the right policy for financial aid. It appeared that BC turned a blind eye to our app and other statistics for giving aid. I think that unless a school is very reputed, it cannot afford to do...

No other reason I can think of. BC is almost the best school for an MBA in finance.

BC will be better if you want to target finance. Even that being said, I have decided not to accept my offer of admit to BC MBA.
