Got the coveted phone call at 9:30 AM, and was asked if I want to accept the offer........I said HELL YEAH.......

Wanted to use this smilie from the day I joined PG one year back.



PS : Was waitlisted at 9 (PGDM-ND) on 9th May.

I had applied for cancellation of admission and refund. the cancellation letter had been delivered at SIOM on APRIL 2.

I was initially told that the refund will be made in 15-20 days. it more than 20 days now and i have not received any refund.

I called up the admissions office and they have no reply for such inordinate delay. they asked me to call up again next and are not giving at least a tentative date for refund.

I am in a bad need for the 2L i deposited so that i can deposit it in other college. can any of the seniors help me on this matter.

After such smooth application and admission processes, SIOM has disappointed me.

As of now no WL candidate has received mail (if any one has pls post it here). Yes, going by last year's trend, WL candidates need to pay an amount less than the first installment paid by the converted candidates, to show their interest in admission.

same query and wat bout the refund rules for a WL candidate if he does not take admission later??

If the WL candidate does not convert the call i.e. does not get admission the whole amount will be refunded. If he gets admission and decides to withdraw, then refund will be made according to refund rules (i do not know the rules). seniors pls help here.

Hello Seniors... i read a post which said "Waitlisted students will have to pay a token amt for showing intent for admission"

But i have not received any mail communication yet .. Kindly update on the same as 12th April is the last date for email confirmation and 19th for the amt submission !

Yes you have read it right. as of now no WL candidate has received the mail. so do not worry. everyone is on the same boat.


PS: I am an XIMB aspirant just like you. I have answered the queries after browsing thru the previous pages. Please take the pain to browse through at least couple of previous pages to get the answer for some of the queries.
