Can anyone out here tell me is PGDM-Financial services offered by IILM-GSM is a better option.what abt d curriculum n,faculty n placement of d same.Plz help me out

Well talking about IILM-GSM one doesnt need to worry about the quality of education provided. The learning experience is always appreciated by the students. The faculty is of good quality and the program as well has been designed to meet the industry standards. It is conducted under the same roof of IILM-GSM where learning is considered to be an unforgettable experience. Son it can be said that this sectoral program of IILM has got good prospect. By my reckoning its worth taking the admission.

i have some quires.
1)i came across the admission form of the institute. it has various courses (IB ,RETAIL, FINANCIAL MARKETING, PGDM). I want to know that , do i have to apply separately for all the programs or only single application is needed for all of these.
2)programes other than PGDM have vorious options for scores of exames (CAT, MAT , XAT , ATMA). Do i need to fill only 1 of the option or can i fill all of these (CAT, MAT , XAT , ATMA).
3) when is the last date to submit the forms?

Hello Abhishek,

1) Yes u hav 2 apply differently 4 different programs.
2) You can fill by any of the scores while applying.
3) It will be better to apply as soon as possible rather than waiting for the last date. Because the competition will keep growing and availability of the seats will keep reducing.

Well for IILM-GSM it is anything above 70%ile. The total fee for the general pgdm course is 6.9 lakhs. the avg package offered to the students is 4.5 lakhs.

hiii yr i have 90%tile in cat but hv poor 10th and 12th with 70+ in b.tech..
cn u tell me wthr i apply this clg or not??wat r my chances to get in??

Hello,

There is no reason to worry, you still stand a chance for IILM-GSM. students are not qualified by one parameter or disqualified on the basis of one parameter. Your drawbacks can be off set by your plus points provided you perform well in the GD & PI round. By my reckoning you should give it one go.

For IILM-GSM's sectoral programs,
1) Yes you have to apply separately for all programmes.
2) You can fill by scores of more than 1 exam.
3) As the competition is growing, it will be good to for you to submit the forms.

i ve an score of 98%ile mat may ...they give more weightage to score or gd/pi ??

No........... the concept of more or less weightage is not so easy to be identified. It can be said that your score is a gateway for you towards the forthcoming rounds. Your past acads and your performance in gd/pi is of greater importance after that.

Basically in the gd round you will be tested on your communication skill, presence of mind and your ability to apply logic. Topic is not expected to be too much specific or something that deep expertise. The pi round is very much of similar kind. But be prepared on the current affairs..........dont ignore politics.

As for IILM-GSM the minimum cut off does not stay as one fixed point. It varies from year to year. Further your score might considered along with other determinants like your past acads or work ex. Well it can be said that for CAT anything above 70%ile and for MAT anything around 80%ile would be good.

The sectoral programs(IB,Financial & Retail) are conducted under the same same roof of IILM-GSM. So it has got equal level of excellence in teaching and learning experience. XAT score will be accepted in sectoral programs. There is no such fixed line but something above 70% ile will be safe.

Well actually Alliance would have been probably the best option. Most reputed institutions in the NCR region are Amity Noida, Apeejay, IILM-CMS, IILM-GSM(for sectoral programs), JIMS Delhi, Asia Pacific etc. These are known for their quality teaching, environment and placements.
