i was goin through an ims ad(TOI) for simcats(16) for 1500 rupees.Is this true
that they are conducting 16 simcats this year ? And also the ad says that a free
simcat is being conducted on the 18th of may 08 .I hope somebody can confirm
the details from ims. .iam very much interested in joining the simcats.

hey where goen reservation,take into consideration 40 per reservation and 15 percent managment quota

only 15 percent reservation for management quota.That constitutes 4 seats thats it out of 30. and there is no other 40 percent quota or anythin.

I agree with you ,that Capital sector would have more competions,just 12 seats for open catagory,excluding management quota,even some benefits for guju like me

dude 30 seats are there in the capital market course ! and as far as i know only 4 seats are reserved for management quota rest are all open. Well iam also in the competition only for capital markets rest of the sectoral programmes i wont be applying since their placement scenario is not clear as yet.

mate...dun u think so 15000 too is an exaggerated no. of students ?? the test is to be held held on 20 jan n i guess it clashes with the MFC programme of DU (well recognised)...neways i agree..lets keep aside the thts abt competition aside n put in our best...keep postin n spread the light !! cheers!

actually it clashes with MFC and TISS . So competition is almost cut in half .And morever except for capital markets its not clear about the other sectoral programmes i mean placement wise .So i guess people arnt that crazed about it except for the capital market programme . For the rest of the programmes the competition wont be that stiff. Anyway this all speculation we will see !
