FORE School of Management has felt the need to keep pace with the needs of a globalised economy. International exchange of students, faculty and joint research are some of the means to provide that edge to FSM. In the last few years FSM has strengthened the process through international exchange of students and faculty with foreign universities and B Schools, research cooperation and a weeklong ‘international immersion’ of students at a foreign location. In addition to a large number of faculty members regularly visiting foreign universities to present papers, the entire team of faculty members visits an international location every year for exchange of views with the local industry and academia.

Purnachandra Rao Duggirala, or the erstwhile 'Mango Mod' Chandoo on PaGaLGuY quit his fulltime job at TCS to earn a living doing what most of us do casually --- write a blog and using what MBAs live off everyday --- Microsoft Excel. What he started three years ago out of boredom now earns him $100,000 annually with him and his wife being the only employees. He speaks about this rather unique way of earning a living in an interview.
