what is the average package which private companies offer during placements?Can someone expect a package of around 8-9 lakhs in the private sector during placements?Or are my expectations too high for the orignal placement figures?

@singh01214 is der ny benchmark they hv already set for selecting candidates....as you hv strtd givng cnfrmation of seats even before the gd/pi of all shrtlistd candidates...i think ideal procedure of reputed college dont follow sch procedure...if yes then tell me name of 1 college...why nobdy ...

singh01214 Yes we have our own system to select best candidate out of all appeared, even we use to send GDPI call to very selected profiles... inbetween if we find really very gud profile than we start selecting them also. I dont think we should ask any body to suggest ideal procedure !!! Coming to the next point i would like to inform u that NIA rarely takes admission on all seats.They are very choosy and If they feel that they are nt getting such a gud profile, for what they are lukng they dont give admissions to stuff..and stop the process. NIA dosnt beleive on "no. of intake to improve it's revenue" ..are lukng for quality nt for quantity !!

Bhairaja123 @crazy_shruti I have read ur all post, just now.I think, u have/had any personal issue with Niasom,pune.But my dear friend, every college have own system to get select appropriate candidate.Senior clearly mentioned his last post that they did not give a call 4 gd/pi to everyone .Its purely based on his/her overall performance from academic to gd/pi.Even you have no idea that,there are so many people have applied with good percentile in cat/xat/cmat,but some of them will get convert or some of them "ll not get through it.That's because ,you really need to perform well in gd/pi.One last thing,admission department never said that they will give a blind call to everyone...they had said that next round of gd/pi would be held on 10th may,2013..that dose not mean,all candidate will eligible for the next round of gd/pi.Why did you think always negative ?.It's a really good reputed college dear.One more thing, if anyone hurt with my post,please forgive me.i am also an aspirant like you.

NimK1986 after doing thorough research, considering all factors, I have decided to leave my converted offers from XISS, XIME & others and will join NIA only... m glad to see great responses from others too.
