1. Since I'm from a management background, can I expect many management-related questions in the interview?

2. Will my lower degree marks put me at a disadvantage? (In fact, in my first year I was the university topper and am among the top 5 in my second year even with 70-something, that's the way Andhra University awards marks)

3. There's a 4-year gap in my academics during which period I joined NIT Warangal for my B.Tech, with an AIR-924, had to discontinue my studies for inexplicable reasons and now am doing my BBM. Will that gap be a disadvantage to me?

1 - see your interview here will be the same as any other gud management clgs....as u don have a work ex u'r major portion of interview will be frm academics OR resume OR if u can drive the interviewer in u'r interest field.....i suggest u practice sm mock interviews before the final one....

2 - u probably have gud 10th and 12th marks and grad marks r decent enough...if tats how u'r clg gives u marks, u don need to wry...if tat ques is comes up in the interview ans it with these explanations...it will be perfectly fine...

3 - see everything depends on how the interviewer takes it....if u'r able to convince him tht y u have done a specific thing....u'v got wat u want......so just be confident in your interview and explain everything....u'll do well....ATB

Looking at the site of IIM ranchi and campus images... great work... this IIM will go miles in coming years...

see u'r chances are at par with everyone...u have a gud %ile in your category and u have a call.....tat means now your chances of gng through now depends on your GD/PI...hw u perform there decides u'r future at IIM Ranchi.....U'll probably get the call letter soon and dates will be mentioned...have patience it will not take a lot of time......

I believe its high time that I share this info with you. Abt the Educational loan , I did a lot of research adn identified that students can avail loan with complete interest subsidy (Provided their family income is less than 4.5 lakhs - Its not community or caste specific). The Central goverment has directed the banks to take necessary steps to implement the scheme with imeediate effect. The scheme is termed "Central scheme for complete interest subsidy for economically weaker students". But we have a problem, the Goverment has made this public only on 25th May.

PIB Press Release. So its hardly 20 days. So we must take immediate steps so as to avail this.

u should call the admission office and ask ?? they have anyways given names of 54 students though the intake was supposed to be 60.....so do call them and ask fr it.....
