hi seniors , i have a question.. i have my X and XII marks around 75 but in my grad its 59.5 .

Just talked to the admissions office, due to certain undisclosed reasons, NIBM will not be taking admissions this year. Though the lady who answered the phone hinted that it may be because of the SC ruling that banks can not recruit from colleges.(though she did not say this in these words, but the gist was this only).This was the only reason why NIBM extended their application deadline this year, never having done so ever since they started the PGDBF program, it was just a delaying tactic where they interpreted the SC ruling and wanted to look for grounds to contest it, but seems like they can not get around it. Everyone who has applied will be getting a refund soon enough, expect a cheque in your posts, this would be accompanied with an apology letter, where the reasons will be disclosed in full. NIBM does not want to play with the careers of the students that after investing two years students do not have any job offers. (p.s. this is a joke, which has been prompted by the frustration of a candidate who is done with all interviews else where, while still waiting for the GD/PI list, if I get selected would have to start making payments soon, NIBM is my dream college, why such lethargic attitude towards the prospective students is beyond me. The intention of this post was not to harm any person/being, so chill out people, and wait for the list!)

Called up DSM Admissions office, the list of waitlisted candidates is expected by EOD.

waise seats b kam thi 36 seats k liye around 500 calls the..

yar ye toh bezzati ho gayi..not even in the waitlist!!!!!

@aratna that process was followed in tapmi only because of the high number of calls..they use this for scrutiny...no other college follows this procedure (AFAIK)!!!!
