* IMI does'nt give u coolers.. u need 2 arrange fr them if u wish
* AC ... he he he ... thts weird coz i never heard neone in any b-school having an AC fitted room( ISB an exeption).. IMI for some executive students nd guest rooms only ACs are there
* Officially you are required not to leave IMI Campus after 11:00 more than thrice a month (however depending on your RAC (Residential Affairs Committee) u can get a relaxation.. (we did full time masti fr the past 2 years.. never really felt it ws a cage)
* Best part abt IMI is... here people knw u r grown ups and hence there are no restrictions for girls to be in campus before a certain time

So Welcome to a 2 year journey of fun, hard work and excitement

I take a lot of pleasure to welcome all you guys to IMI..

thanks for atleast replying to my query(3 rd attempt)... I had already gone through but the thread has not mentioned anywhere about the lateral placement in HR .

Could you please answer my few more queries :

what is the designation level offered to the Laterals joinees in HR this time ? is it same or above freshers ?
Is there any difference in packages offerred to laterals ?

IMI HR laterals got Manager Designation in companies like Genpact and freshers got Asst Manager level designation.

There is a difference of a couple of lakhs as well in their packages

Median Salary is arnd 8.7

Godfrey dint recruit any as no one was left..

Lowest salary 5.xx by Maruti
Highest Indian Salary 13.5 (this is after offer letters were received)
Lehman offered 18 but the job went to a PGDM-Ex student
International Recruiters : Jumbo (took 3) ; MB Holdings (offered PPOs) ; Arthur D Little (which went to to IIMs - A,B,C, MDI ,IMI nd 2/3 more colleges in India , but unfortunately could'nt choose the best fit)

Star Recruiters : ITC (AUT Profile) ,UBS (profiles in M&A;, i-Banking) , RPG( Regional Manager Level profile for Laterals),Other companies that offered excellent laterals were Genpact, IL&FS; , SBI-Life and Infosys. FMCG Majors like HUL and Asian Paints started a relationship with IMI. Barclays and Bank of America came to IMI for the first time and offered 9 to 10 lakhs p.a.
There were consultancy offers from Axis Risk Consulting.
