hii guys..

can anyone tell if i do mba finance regular from an average b-school & pursue cfa alongside... where shall i look for job after completion of mba & perhaps level1 of cfa??

i mean certainly not KPOs ...then where??

PHEWW !! finally i read all the posts of this thread today!

well..so i summarised it this way that KPOs r good 4 sum1 who has bachelors & looking 4 mba from top tier b-school. BUT... how can one make it into a KPO with just graduation degree i,e b.b.a , bms ,bcom etc???
as it has already been mentioned in the posts that kpo requires specialized skill set & high qualifications atleast an mba !

me too frm chennai thinking of taking up Gmat around feb..but i have sum queries regarding Gmat.. i m in final year of graduation & preparing 4 CAT-08 .though i have minimal intension of joining a b-school thru cat as a frsher.

i wd lke 2 work 4 a couple of years b4 going 4 mba.

it wont be easy to score high in Gmat while slogging 10-12 hrs at office, so i want to take Gmat just after or b4 completion of my graduation. as i m in a pleasant flow 2wards my CAT prepartion,i cd give better in GMAT this season.

i checked out the sites but couldnt make out anything.

can anyone tell me am i eligible to take up gmat in final year of graduation??

can anyone plz tell me wat r the job prospects after clearing L1 as a fresher & wat wd the starting pay?

can one get the job profile of an analyst in a kpo firm ?

as u r frm the engg bckgroung i wd suggest u to register for the june-09 exams..it requires 300 hrs of study for the preparation of level 1 ..but it also depends on ur grasping power n hrdwok

The last date for CFA June 09 exam is on 16 Mar 2009. But by the time fees would be very high $1395. But if u register b4 24 Sep 2008 thn fees wld b lowest $990. So jus be on time to register first so tht u cld seriously prepare n gv d exam.

UTIICM's PSM program requires min. of 2 years experience..so better check with it dude.

good to see a new thread on NMAT sect.i have had followed the previous thread too but the info on that is not updated..i checked with the site of nmims & found that mba global & mba capital markets have good placements & contents including international internships ..my query is that a min of 1 year exp is must for admission into these programs or can be taken as a fresher??
coz i checked with another NMIMS management quota thread & found that even the freshers r gettin seats in mba sectorial.
wat wd be the expected cut-off for mba sectorial?
