placement was fine...got over even before others started their placement process in mid nov...hostel ka not so sure we r hearing that there wd b hostel facility, but no one is committing on that,,,,still tentative..

ME ALSO DUDE GOT IT ON 17th .... i dont wether it is gud or bad that we have got on 17th feb ..so late ... u know there can be the case the most of the seats of hyd might be filled by the time we appear fr interview... some guys were telling me that people who have done well in ibsat are getting earlier dates fr mp/pi.. i dont know my ibsat exam went well attemted abt 185-190 questions wid gud accuracy... what abt u..

there's no relevance of ibsat marks with call dates.....if u want u can get the date changed...but that wdnt effect the place that u get selected for..

which application form....do u mean to say with the resume that u wd b carrying along to the interview...?? a print out wd be fine....i dnt see any reason as to why u shd hand-write it....hv u been told to do that...???

infact u shd be writing the work profile on ur resume i suppose...

In addition to the books we hv also got 4CDs here in Mumbai(u must hv also got it i believe)....wanted to update the forum on it,y'da we had the concluding day of National Mngmt Games org by AIMA(although we were nt involved in it)& the chief guest was.....the CEO of Relaince Retail,,,was a shrt session bt was certainly educative...

Gusy lets shun this topic of whether ICFAI or not,there wd be ppl who wd appear on the thread tima again w this topic we must not waste our precious space & time & answering those posts,let those guys go & do their own research & find answers by themselves-lot of info is available out there only if u take the pain of xploring,& ya gud topic fr discussion(reservation) bt preety heavy & feel boring to debate on the thread,so might lets hold the topic fr the time being & get down on it wen we reach the campus :-)kiddin!!!

Even i got thru IBS mumbai and i am joinig it becoz the general opinion seems to be that it's quiet decent if not gr8.Yes u are very rite in saying that the infrastructure is bad coz a B-school having 2 buildings with 2 floors each is not really how one imagines a gud B-school to be.On a more positive note i have interacted with some of the seniors from IBS mumbai and they are quiet satisfied with their overall experience(faculty+internships+library+placements) at IBS.Also plz check out this link

& whoever is confused bout the decission,plz do a SWOT ananlysys before taking the decission,if u thnk that u can crack thru top 10 instis then plz dnt join ICFAI(exception Hyd).I got thru Mumbai & I'm joining coz i know my value before doin MBA is less than my value after doin MBA so instead of wasting 1 more precious year & getting thru a decent insti nxt time dsnt make sense to me at all coz i m sure that it wnt be possible fr me to get thru the top 10 instis if i continue w my job & i dont wanna leave my job & prepare again.

So the point here is vry individualistic,& obviously ppl who r nt gud enuf to be placed in campus wl talk crap bout the insti,it happens evrywhere,u shd nt compare urself w them,y dnt u thnk about the guy who got a package of 8L & since the package is increasing evry yr,may be i wd get more than that when I pass-out...Just beleive in urself--& most important-know urself-ur capabilities.

Y dnt u try getting ur receipts the way Sunita got it,this is wat i was tellin u,,,keep cool,,

infact after repeated mails and calls-with no results-i am dispatching a letter to thm saying tht if thy dont care abt replying to my mails and giving receipt for valid payments-thn i too dont care abt their deadlines.
i have mentioned tht i ould take 2 weks more to pay the nxt 30k.if thy need 4 weeks to give recipts thn i too need 2 weeks to send the the draft.and if thy cant do tht-thn i can seek legal compensation for diffeciency in service,harrasment and fraud.

it might not be there fault as well.i live in hyd & get mails much after i hv read about it on PG & do u thnk if u send that kinda mail they wd get scared & act accordingly,in fact try speaking to some1 senoir in the admission dept talk to the admin offcr & explain him all that u hv to go thru wen u approach a bank fr loan.
shd not assume thngs & blame ppl...!!
