Congratulations to FMS Call getters!! This is your chance to enter into the institute with not just the lowest ROI in the world (as mentioned in one of the post), but also the highest intellectual density geographical zone in the country . PaGaLGuY is wonderful platform for your preparatory phase for the Second Round of admission process in FMS. We would be glad to help you in whatever way we can. The seniors @ FMS will be there to disseminate whatever information you might require at this stage.

Observing the discussion up till now, please note the following:

1. The Written section does carry 70% weightage and GD/PI/Extempore carries 10% each. (According to the last year's trend). Having said that, remain optimistic since the person with amongst the lowest written score in the callgetter list last year, converted his call!! (leave aside being waitlisted)

2. You don't get time to think . You are required to speak as soon as you get the topic. And believe me, the topic can be on anything under the sun. The best bet is to practice speaking on random topics.

3. Do go through last year's thread on PG. It will give you an idea of what to expect in the process.

4. Lastly, the mantra is to 'Be optimistic till the end'. The Battle isn't over till the time you give up!!

i got through with MBA !!!
was expecting around 350.... my number is 50 in the list. My sectionals were good for all the four... lowest expected was 61 in RC.

I had applied for MBA ( MS) too but my name is not there in the list !!
howcome ?????? cut-offs are different for both ? Please help...somebody...is there a possibility that they missed my name ? Is it profile based ? how can this happen ?

Simple mathematical calculation dude.. With almost the same set of people applying for both the courses and the no. of seat for MBA(MS) course being lesser than MBA course.. the no. of calls are bound to be lesser.. So a few of you will loose out on that call..
But my Two cents.. Party Hard tonight for your MBA Call and get started for converting it ASAP

@FMS Seniors...

Can you tell us when FMS is going to give the sectional and overall percentiles as it was told by them ....or are they going to wait like usual for a month before making it public???

Chances are that the percentiles would be out only after the whole admission process is over (like it has been the case with last year). But then, the story this year can be different.

arre woh to pata hai....number called for ms is less..... but if i assume this list is based on the marks in descending order...there are people both above and below me in MBA who made it to MBA(MS).... now it may seem that i am whining but man....i cannot explain how desperate i am for a convert

To clear the air, the list declared is in no particular order of merit. Although, it has direct correlation with your test centers. But then again, it doesnt have any bearing to any merit within that particular test centre

Congratulations to all those selected!!

It was quite an ordeal in the FMS Campus last night.. Waiting for more than 2.5 hours.. Thrown out of the campus after 10 and gates chained in front of us...But I guess it was a befitting end to all that..

If u can call it an achievement..Was the first person to check this year's results.. Coz Am still in Delhi(Not wanting to get back to Hyd)!!
Would prob be the first person to go and deposit the fees as well morrow..Will Keep puys updated about it...

And am there at IMS Madhapur..Havn't been able to attend classes for a while due to office work :confused: Lets catch up!!
