CAT breaks up admission process in two phases( Heading)
Mumbai:

Under tremendous pressure to release the scores of lakhs of students who have takeb the CAT Test,The IIM's will -for the first time -break up their admisison process in two phases.
To begin with,scores of all the students will be released by Thursday.But each IIM will shortlist candidates and invite them for GD/PI only by the end of the month.So,for thousands of top-scoring candidates looking to join the IIMs,the wait just got longer.

Enough has been said and written about the CAT result dates...would like to request all fellow puys to now stop speculating about the D Day.....Even I was doing the same some time back but after everything been cleared by estranged_gnrs aka rohit bhai, I guess we should stop that!!!

exam alag din hai ki same day hai aur do v need any experience for applying for Rural Po n do v need to deposit Rs.500 separately for applying for both the posts............\

Fill the form for both the POs(rural and general PO) as both the exams will be held on the same date -18/04/2010

The Telegraph - Calcutta (Kolkata) Jharkhand Want to join IIM? Wait till Sunday to know if you can

here it just mentions that the admission notice will be in this Sunday`s papers.
Also it says cat results are expected to be out in few days.. (haven`t we heard this before :D)

You very much right but in today's newspaper its clearly mentioned that results would be out in 2-3 days.....Now lets hope Hindustan Dainik's news comes true instead of The Telegraph's...

There was this news in today's newspaper(hindustan dainik-jamshedpur edition)that the application process for IIM Ranchi would start from 28th of this month....as per Prof. B B chakrabarty(IIM kolkata prof.) the CAT results are expected to come in next 2-3 days and after that the process for IIM Ranchi would start!!!

Can't give you the proof as even after intense googling was not able to find the e-paper edition of Hindustan Dainik(jamshedpur edition)

There was this news in today's newspaper(hindustan dainik-jamshedpur edition)that the application process for IIM Ranchi would start from 28th of this month....as per Prof. B B chakrabarty(IIM kolkata prof.) the CAT results are expected to come in next 2-3 days and after that the process for IIM Ranchi would start!!!

IIMs are IIMs because of their selection procedures and their quality in choosing right candidates for PGP
FOR ur consideration if u consider urself a genius then get good percentile in cat get admission in IIM calcutta as it gives 95% wheightage to it.

Your logic is completely flawed....Dude how could you even compare a parrot with a human being:shocked::shocked:.....A parrot can by heart(magga maarna in hindi) any thing and everything because that is the only thing they can do....we human after all are not programmed computers which can only do specific things(study in your case).....For your information we do have a heart also apart from the brain in our body......guys tend to screw their 10th or 12th marks due to several reasons....love affair,family problems,choking out of unreasonably high expectations,health related issues and many more....so to completely tag a guy a looser only because of his low 10/12 marks is something you should think twice of.....and regarding your stupid reason for considering 10/12 marks(in bold)---dude if IIMs can't filter out guys in this 2.5 hours of exam they should scrap off this exam thing and should start giving calls only on the basis of 10/12 marks(according to you)....right!!!

hey puys i m applying for the SB India PO.Here they have given an option that we can apply for both Po as well as rural PO.So i hav a query, by depositing fee Rs.500 r v eligible for applying for both the posts...............

yes you can apply for both the posts by depositing fee of Rs 500 only!!!
