well cheers to all who are joining the course.....here is what the latest is on the website :

Communication by Dr. Bibek Banerjee, Director, IMT Ghaziabad

Will the DCP students have common classes with students taking the same
    elective classes from other programs?
Yes, in the second leg of the DCP program in Ghaziabad, students from the DCP will have common classes with students from other programs (including our exchange students from B-Schools across the globe) who choose to do the same elective.

How will the placement process work for DCP students? Will DCP students be
short-listed for interviews for the same profiles as the PGDM/ PGDM Finance/ PGDM HR/ etc. programs?
Final placements for DCP students will happen in Ghaziabad. We have got and are getting enthusiastic response from corporates on the unique proposition of DCP students. Being the only program of its kind in India that is approved by the AICTE, the DCP has a unique and distinguished value proposition for corporates, in that the DCP students are equipped with a more hands-on understanding of how to do business in or with a more globalized economy.
Just like a student specializing in Finance has a different proposition compared to a student specializing in HR, so does the DCP student who has a different proposition. IMT will be sharing DCP profiles with all the companies for whom the profiles may be attractive while hiring from the campus. We expect that the profiles that will be offered to students of DCP are likely to be different from the profiles that are being offered to students who are specializing in other programs.
We have clearly seen this trend during the summer placements being offered to the DCP students. Students have got placed with marquee brands and in very exciting profiles. We have also got early feelers from corporates on the student's performance and contributions in the internships, and they are really happy with the international perspective the students are bringing to them.
Our future goal is to strengthen the international immersion of this program endto-end; that is from curriculum, to internships, to placements.

Will the placement opportunities in other programs get affected on account of DCP placements?
The placement prospects in other programs in no way will get affected on
account of DCP placements. There are over 500 corporates who look for varied skill sets every year. The whole idea behind launching the DCP program was to offer an exclusive skill set to the corporates and that was not being fulfilled by other programs at IMT. IMT is committed to enabling the best career opportunities for all its students and also meeting the evolving international requirements corporate have from students. Placements across all programs have improved significantly this year over last year with new marquee brands being added to the list. We are happy that our valued recruiters have testified on the value of the IMT-brand in the latest ET rankings. We are committed to building and consolidating this in the future.

      Dear All ,

I am not very sure if this belongs here or not, and if nt, i wud be very grateful if you could direct me to the respective forum as i am new to pagal guy.

      well here is my query,
i am in my final year pursuing b tech, and have an offer from CSC with 3.25 lpa as pay package and other option is FORE. i have some doubts about fore school of management, ie

      1) the %ile dropped down this year, would it effect in the over all experience at FORE ?
      2) It is not a resedential B school, does it really makes any difference ??
      3) with more IIMs starting this year and in the years to come, will FORE retain its standings or would it fall downwards ?

which option would be better to go for FORE without an exp or go for a work ex and then MBA after 2 yrs ??
      Thanks n regards
