Rs. 11.76 Lakhs ave domestic salary.

The FMCG Company pays the same across all campuses and is none other ITC. The college in question here is XLRI..sad but true.I only saw tow things in the XL placement report when it was released....No one the lowest salary and then I saw ITC recruited...and I know ITC pays 8.13 actually..I ahve theri IIM Indore PPT too...man this is bad....coming from XLRI..anyways there is seperate thread for inflated placement figures ..Moderators do move these posts there...

dude .. XL is a pretty reputed insti and many (may not the be the majority) rate it in the same league as the IIMs ... just wanna know what makes you think .... that its XL .. i mean are u sure of this?

this is a time when ppl have to make choices .... can u let us know of ur source of info ??

as for the fin orientation ... half of our batch is doing majors in fin !! 33% of the senior batch was placed in finance and fin vertical has the maximum number of courses being offered this year !!

will not compare it with I..etc. ... just compare the stats and facts .. the choice is urs !!

and food at Taj and ITC aint too costly either ... 250 bugs per head for a buffet ... and for rajasthani food lovers we have a rajasthani bhojanalya few kms away from campus!!!

Two queries
1) Although it has been told that we will be coming to know about the course start date through the offer letters, but can you please give a n approximate date - like the week of joining so that I can plan some things :-)
2) I have been working with IT MNC for 19 months, So Is it necessary for me to produce the certificate at the time of joining.

1) need to wait for some time .... or better call up IIM K office. Last year it was 21st June.

2) Yes... u will need an experience certificate.

Do we have wi-fi at IIM K??

yepp the academic area is wifi enabled .... theres a port wherever u can think of ... CC/Library/Classrooms/Guest House.

Hostels area should also be wifi enabled by the time u land in Kunnamangalam.
