Best time to contact ISB for feedback would be April 2nd week. Thats when the new batch joins and starts the class.

Many of the puys I know got selected. Many didnt. I lost the race long back. Congrats to all who got admits. There are many puys who were silent spectators of PG. It is time to payback folks. Share your interview experience in this easy to use form. 2 minutes of your time. Will be useful for folks of next batch.

One of my friend got a phone call from ISB yesterday asking if he was ready for interview then. He said he was out of town so it is rescheduled for today at 10.30. My friend is in bangalore and it is surprising that in the last minute interviews are done thru skype. He has around 3 years of IT exp with 660 GMAT.

All those who have completed interviews pls share ur exp in PG and fill this simple online form. Please do not duplicate the entries. We will use the data for the Co 2014 aspirants.

in one of the interview debrief - i saw someone calling them sir, but later they asked him/her to call by names....
anyways i dont think being a school of international repute these things matter
you can safely call them by name....

Can someone tell me if interviewer at ISB should be referred as Sir/mam? :sneaky:

It may be a silly question, but I have been outside India for sometime and last time I remember we used to address Profs as Sir/Mam, though that was changing little bit (Dr. Last Name). I just wanted to check the etiquette and not mess up my interview for this. :sneaky:

Calling by first name of the panelist can never go wrong. But if you didnt catch the names or you forgot the names it is safe call them Sir/Ma'am.

haha thanks. But it wasnt a smooth one all throughout. The stress was more on current job description. And they asked me this question - If your organization provides papercups at all its water coolers in the entire campus, how many papercups should it provide per day. They were more interested in the thought process behind it rather than the exact numbers.

My office uses approx 14.5K cups a day . What is marked in red are my assumptions.

No of employees in campus = 5000
Present in Office 80% 4000
Bucket 1 (6 cups/day) 10% * 4000 = 400 Total Cups 2400
Bucket 2 (4 cups/day) 60% * 4000 = 2400 Total Cups 9600
Bucket 3 (2 cups/day) 30% * 4000 = 1200 Total Cups 2400

TOTAL 14400
Assumption only 80% works from office and or use paper cups. 8 hours in office

Puys, had my Interview yesterday, reached very early for my 12:10 slot, so had a lot of time to talk to the other applicants.

sausi007- this is an awesome debrief. There is a good start and finish. and lot of good questions in between. You had clarity of thought. I am sure I am going to PM you incase I get a iv call so that I can bounce some of the answers with you. I would say you had a cool interview and i am sure you will crack it.
