In the interview form sent to IIMI, i mentioned my employment joining date as august 2009 and sent the certi stating this with it.
But it turns out as i was on training probation for 2 months, my company issued me my new offer letter with joining date as nov 2009 and told me my aug 2009 certi will be invalid and only nov 2009 certi wil be valid in case of enqiury from IIM.
can this lead to my admission being rejected at d time of registration as the certi i now have shows my joining as nov 09 but the certi with IIMI has date of aug 09.
will this 3 months gap make such a difference that my admission can be canceled???wat should i do now???

I wud say, write an email to the admission department stating the same. Also, I assume u have the aug 2009 certificate still intact. Keep it as a proof to validate ur statement.

U can also talk to ur company to get a certificate stating that u joined on aug but were under training.

Actually some companies I knw of dont consider training period as experience, and some do consider....so that causes such issues...I hv myself faced it some time before.....

and go the question 1 and beyond ... here are few lines ..

"Talking about admissions for next year, Dr. Xavier said that IIM Ranchi would coordinate the entire admissions and there is a plan to have common criteria across the four IIMs and also a plan to have counseling sessions for coordinating admissions to the four IIMs. He also indicated that it is most likely that the six new IIMs IIM Ranchi, Rohtak, Raipur, Trichy, Udaipur, Kashipur will be doing joint admissions next year."

Not really frnd... I guess the sentence was slightly misinterpreted. This year, 4 IIMs had a Common GD-PI session for candidates that was organized primarily by IIM Rohtak.
On the same lines, next year IIM Ranchi will coordinate the process for the next year, and the word "joint admissions" seemingly refers to the same process.
What I dont understand is the common criteria. Like this year, IIM Ranchi kept the cutoff at 99.61. But other IIMs kept it much below that.

I m very very sure that there will be no CAT-2. So, chill!!!

I just logged in to the link where we were able to view the results from the first list. Now, when I clicked on the same link, it took me to an alumni login page, and not the first list. I suppose that the uploading is going on and may not take much time now

Check the statement on the site:

You may check the status again on or after 24th May 2011 for update. I feel its likely that we will get the new list tomorrow and not today.....well that wud mean another sleepless night.
