Despite being a product of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, author Rashmi Bansal upholds the view that an MBA is merely an embellishment and many successful people have made it big without one. But that's exactly why she wrote her new book 'Connect the Dots', she says, wherein she follows the experiences of 20 Indian entrepreneurs who do not have an MBA degree. "There is just too much importance given to the MBA degree. There are all sorts of success stories of people who have not done an MBA so why so much of fuss for the degree," she tells PaGaLGuY's Lajwanti D'souza.

krkpm2010 Business and Business Administration an lever for Business are two ends of the spectrum. An MBA gives you ways to understand all the facets of business; which in turn paves the path for starting up your own Business in the long life time. But Business as an entity is beyond all these language. Business == Risk. The ability to take that risk with or without an MBA is a fact. MBA degree helps to understands this risk better with facts with are written in complex sentences in a foreign language. Mitigation plans are outcomes of that understanding. MBA -> Think before you start any deed in a market opportunity, but Business-> start, go head and think of hiring MBA grads to sustain further. 20 entrepreneurs had big dreams, push from within and have lived up to it and I am sure that all of them would have a bunch of MBA grads in this Business Administration activities. MBA degree has its value in the Administrative activities; no doubt in it. But business is all about living a dream and passion for the dream to come true.With MBA and without MBA is "alike the two roads diverged in an yellow wood", the less travelled is always taken by people who have passion to do BUSINESS.
