IIMs generally give out more calls than the no. of available seats .. taking into consideration the overlap as many guys convert multiple calls ... this is termed as buffer calls ...

so as they are already calling more people than the no. of seats ... couting the no. of people leaving K for other IIMs does not really get converted into the waitlist movement ...
waitlist movement start only when the buffer calls get exhausted ...

finally ...
this time.. the buffer calls are comparetively lower than the last yr ...
so we can expect some movement in the waitlist ..

i have been told by my frnd that i am waitlisted at no.1 in MIB ..
hope to make it thru ....and join ...

I am hving my GDPI on 17 apr at 12:30 ...
nyone on the same slot ...
and seniors .. plz let me know ... which mode of transport will be ideal for travelling to UBS from Delhi ... (considering the timings and that i would avoid having an overnight stay there )
moreover .. at what distance is UBS from the chandigarh railway station .. & how much time it shall take me to travel that distance ...

even m nt thru with 97 %ile ... had a grt GDPI ...
prob was expecting more weightage to the CAT score ...
bt seriously ... hw can u reject people with scores of 98 , 99+ even after they had a decent GDPI ..
i was banking upon fore ... nw i hv nothing in hand ... seriously dissapointed ..
