Looks like there are some issues wid ma profile.

It doesn't display any information on the left-side-pane of my posts, though I have enabled all the options. I don't receive any PMs from my frenz....n my signature never comes up despite having saved it umpteen times....

Do let me know what shud I do in this regard.

@ Pradeep....Awesome stuff man....Infact, I believe the IIM profs shud be made to read this post of urs....And haan....why don ya give writing a shot as a career option....who knows we have the next Russel/Sartre right here.....:)

And a very valid point over here......"CAT is supposed to test Aptitude and not intelligence and aptitude will not change much in 5 years. It will benefit the student community immensely since they can give CAT in the final year, concentrate on their careers and then join MBA after 3-4 years after understanding business and corporate life....."

dude... couldn't you have said this sometime ago???
I mean, sitting with the puys is probably my fav mode of studying n everything... but you see.. these TIME classes, they have all da call getters (IIMs) and it would give us a fair taste of what to expect in da actual calls.. Now we (according to me) don't have enough time with us to make this a regular thing.. coz then we will be surely missing out on da knowledge waala funda!!! :(
Personally speaking again, I have joined IMS as well as TIME.. which will take up 19 hrs of the week at least in GD/PI... which is just practice, when do we actually learn coz we all (presumably) know that we can;t study too well in our offices!!! :(

I don mind such a setup on a sunday night though!!! that time would be wasted for me (mostly) otherwise but then I cannot confirm it as of now!!!


Ok how about this, we start co-ordinating the knowledge based things over here itself???

Certainly a great idea.....I mean, it's goinna be really gud having GDs with all the puys over here....n more sooo if Anupam n other folks from IIM B can do the moderating part (Thanks anupam).....but I guess timing and regularity will be an issue.....Nevertheless we can have a couple of such sessions and decide further based on the response.....:)

Regarding coaching instis, I guess I'll go with Anarchy on this....Had joined CL for GD/PI preps last year.....n the grp was really gud.....especially the boot-camp (exclusively for the IIM call getters) that we had......Certainly a "must-attend" for all of us.....

Plus, there is also a lot of reading and brushing up that we need to do before we can start sharing knowledge among ourselves.......Co-ordinating the knowledge-based things over here wud also be a great idea.....(That way the focus will be more on gyaan sharing, besides utilising our office time..... ....)

For starters, let's have a session among ourselves on the coming weekend.... preferably in the afternoon.....(have other sessions in the evening).....Mufasa bhai, will sync up with u on the time n venue of the session.....

Dude...NITIE n MDI had their sectional cutoffs around 85 %ile last year, with over all around 96.5 and 97.5 respectively.....So I dint get them either......

This year however the situation is different....The sectional cut-offs are expected to be higher this year.....(looking at the trend so far....)....Guys with all sectionals above 90%ile and OA above 99 %ile have also been left out by I n K....

So, as far as I understand, a NITIE n MDI call looks a lil far-fetched for u now...:neutral: .... ..despite ur good overall score....Anyway....Keep ur fingers crossed, we never know when a surprise springs up....Gud luck....:)

Points R and S on AB such tht AR=RS=SB,points P and Q on AC such tht
AP=PQ=QS.RC intersects PB at point X,find slope of line AX.

as far as I remember, it was B(0,6) and C(9,0)
and I got the answer as 2/3.

The ans is 2/3.....
A simple look at the question suggests that the slop shud be +ve n less than 1.....
