YES there is an increase in seats and on what basis r u puys suggesting that fin is good at Ranchi, don't tell me coz it's mentored by c.That is a lame reason.
pksingh3232 @moti what do u think SJMSOM reports are audited by any body like CRISIL or ICRA nope it isnt and if its not audited the avg packages are inflated.I dont blame any b-school for that, its a traditional practice for most b-schools even the top IIMs.As of now only IIM-A,SPJAIN,TAPMI reports are audited. You can find these reports on IIM-A IPRS site
pksingh3232 @moti If a placement report is not audited its bound to be inflated thts it.SJMSOM reports are unaudited so is the reports of several b-schools,so dont go by the figures which are claimed in the reports instead look at the companies which visit a b-school.SJMSOM does have an impressive line up of companies cant say abt profiles offered in marketing or finance but for Ops its really good comparable to NITIE

First of all SJMSOM has 120 seats while IIM ranchi hs 154...and can u guys shed some light on profiles and companies that visit IIM R ? I dont think they are far better than or I guess are more or less comparable to the one's that visit SJMSOM or even worse. And one more thing IIM C mentorship has nothing to do in IIM R's placement, they just provide a regular visiting faculty thats it...
Rishabh013 @IIMR thr are 120 seats for PGDM and 40 for PGHRM. About Fin. The best faculty from around the world are teaching in Ranchi, which includes faculties working at SEBI.
