hey how is iba greater noida?
also the requirement is very low for anybody above 40%ile in cat is eligible,is this for noida campus or both the noida and banglore campuses?

IBA Bangalore is better than the noida one. As far as bangalore campus is concerned, ur cat or mat score is but one of the factors. U need to score well in other areas. u have an equal chance.

Why the hell does this crappy institute keep sending application forms to my address????
I have received 3 application forms from them so far despite never applying for the same.and i can guess how they got hold of my address.quite obviously,they pay the coaching institutes a few bucks for sharing contact details of students.
Speaks volumes about the standard of the institute,i must say.

Excuse me whoever u are, whenever u claim something, provide evidences for the same. U are here to take or give sensible suggestions, not to demean or defame any college. I m not saying just coz i m an IBA student but its my responsibility to make others aware. If an institute sends its prospectus 3 times it doesn't mean its a bad insti. I received 5 times Alliance prospectus. Now what do u have to say abt that?

just remember 1 thg, u dont have any right to mislead the students by ur words. Whenever and whatever u say, show evidences dude. Be mature enough.

there are many branches of christ college. The best one is the one which is affiliated to the bangalore university. All the other ones are not that good.

Its a misconception that all christ colleges are good.

Even i am from jharkhand but with no hard feelings implied to anyone I just want to know why u r interested in doing MBA from a place like bihar where there is simply no standard of education. We at PG help each other by giving impartial advice so that u aspirants don't ruin ur career by taking an impulsive decision. Think a 1000 times , if u r really eager to do MBA, choose a better place wherein u can actually learn something.

u know better as you live there, I wanted to give u a clear picture. No personal remarks for anyone.

well lemme give my opinion abt the coll...
positive aspects:

1. academic wise i would rate 9 out of 10
   
2. Profs. are friendly
   
3. they give you the freedom to think abt new concepts (infact they make u to think)
   
4. practical approach to learning
   
5. placement team is quite strong
   
6. student run clubs and committees (place to learn and implement thoughts before entering into corporate)
   
7. u will get adjusted to long hours (stress management which is very necessary for the future)
   
8. Campus has management thinker as the Dean (he also encourages to think out of the box)
   
9. Prof. Chandra Kant sir's class (this is the best thing that anybody can have, u will learn many thngs starting from meditation to running a project in the company) includes emotional intelligence, stress mgmt, interpersonal skills, project mgmt..... u come out with any question/doubt there will be an answer (truly would like to say 1 thng with the learnings that i get from this class i can lead my rest of the life)
   

Negative aspects abt the coll.

1. food provided in the coll is not good
   
2. strict rules and regulations(takes time to adapt but its fun also)
   
3. tight schedule
   

My research before joining ths college:

1. had cross checked many colleges infact almost all colleges in bangalore and HYD.
   
2. i seriously felt this stands much ahead of other colleges in Bangalore
   
3. Had rated this coll next to Alliance business academy in Bangalore (and i still stand with it)
   
4. has more transparency than other colleges
   

Guys i can understand the things that run in ur mind, the confusions that araise.... bcoz a year back even i went thru the same

do lemme knw if u need any info (had done lot of study abt colleges and i can share wid u)

anyways do ur research, weigh positive against negative and take an appropriate decision
