During my PI i voiced my opinion to the panel that the GD was ineffective since 4 ppl were made to sit in a bench and apparently cd nt see each other. SO it was difficult to find out who actually was speaking.

The lady asked me to vent out my frustration at PG and not to them...

So NMIMS is a big No No to me forever...

As much as i wonder as to why she should have said that, even though we raise our frustration in PG, it is just to a minority because i remember the SNAP fiasco, many of us had raised valid points and had heated discussions in PG but finally of no use. They carried on with their process. This has stopped making any sense to me!

BEST THING from my experience is to go with the flow and get somewhere_ rather than to stop, think and analyse!

Not sure, but as per last year trends think you should clear it easily. Maybe by May, though nothing can be accurately predicted

Please keep in mind that the thread has been opened for discussion, not venting out your frustration just because the college does not toe your line of thought. :nono::nono:

And regarding the placements of the colleges that you have compared with NMIMS, I can rip them apart by just stating some easy facts. But I would refrain from doing so because placements whether they surpass expectations or not and the actual scenario in other B Schools is always open to speculation by aspirants.:sneaky:

I would advise you to keep an open mind and flexible thought process if you wish to make so much as a dent in the corporate world.

Well just one point to say here, NM has completely disappointed me, as i had about 218 marks in NMAT. Was called for GD/PI and inspite of having an awesome GD and PI i was rejected for Core. This really hurt my morale and if i am correct, no fresher with marks in my range converted(or maybe just a few exceptions). I think they just call based on factors like Nmat score, Work ex, etc. Maybe other institutes also but somehow i don't think its the right way of doing things! It was really disappointing of NM to call us there and have fun.

Manas sir, i am not countering you. You did help immensely during GD/PI and i tried following all but was of no use. In the PI only thing they were trying to do was make fun of everything i say, yet i kept my cool and replied to all. It was my dream institute but i am sad at the way things have turned out. It was as if they were pretending to be supremos. And i did everything anyone can do in a GD, yet no use. Next year or year after that if things are like it was this year i am sure id be selected thanks to my work ex_in my personal opinion, from what i have gathered in the PG thread.

No point typing in this now, anyway here goes. Wanted to be part of this great thread. Could not catch CAT this time. Maybe next time(just what everyone says!)

Even after having touched above 90 only once in the mocks and after having consistently scored <70 i was able to reach close to 90.
