There are lot of oil resources in the world that are yet to be exploited like the ones in canada (alberta oil sands) and venezuela (more proven oil resources than that of saudi arabia).
Production from these areas is challenging considering numerous geo-political factors.
There are many theories for explaining how long the oil will last.

guys..what is the last date of interviews?

i was interviewed for production.
they started with qstns from basics but went on to ask formulas and chemical equations.
some of them (which i remember) are regarding cavitation, pumps, corrosion etc.

well.. sorry to hear that. Even on my interview day there were similar cases. But ONGC being a PSU it has certain rules to follow. In the advt. the qualifying degree was clearly mentioned. And also it is time for Indian b-schools to take the initiative towards giving MBAs rather than some less-recognized diplomas.

Coming to my interview, I had a bad interview myself. It was a pure technical one. They were unrelenting to change the topic till the point i gave a wrong answer or said "i don't know."
The interviewers are very very seniors in their field. I guess there were some retired people too. So don't try to fool them.
And the ratio is 1:5. Unless you are at your best, it's difficult. I know I wasn't.

Current Occupation: about to joina business analytics company.
Why on PG? to work towards success CAT, XAT and GMAT and also to engage with people who are willing to make a career in management consulting industry. :)
Aim for next one year? CAT & XAT (2012/2013), GMAT in 2013.
