dude .. u definitely need to fill a seperate sheet for GIM ..
Those which u marked in xat online form was just for the XAT admissions office so that they can send it to the respective colleges you are interested in ..

yes, its required .. u can get in touch with the admissions office for these queries .. I guess its best to reach out to them for ur registration related ques ..

guys need help ........though i'm wait listed at 1 .........as if i'll convert....then ... i'l b on short notice to reach thr ...so, jst thought to ask a few things in advance ...


1) what documents one need at the time of registration ...as i'm a fresher .....i hav certificates uptill 7th sem ....as the result of last sem will b out in first week of next month ...so, i dont hav that ..

2) do i need any medical certificate ?

3) any migration certificate .??

4) documents for loan .......hope somebdy will throw some light on this .....and frm where it'll convenient to avail loan ....frm bbsr or frm my home town ( delhi)...

5) ..wat r things one should carry to hostel ....

6) which laptop will b the best .?? i mean configuration......

oops... that's a long list i gues ... abi k lie itna kafi hai ...

these are the docs which have to presented at the time of registration along with their copies

1. Matriculation or equivalent certificate (for date of birth).
2. Degree certificate. If you are completing the Degree this year, a certificate from the Principal/Director of the College/Institute stating that all requirements for Degree including the final examinations, have been completed.
3. The marks lists of the Higher Secondary and Degree examinations.
4. Transfer/Migration Certificate from the College/Institute.
5. A character certificate from the Principal/Director of the College/Institute last attended.
6. Work experience certificate, if any.
7. Four recent passport-size and four stamp-size colour photographs.
8. Blood group report.
9. Medical fitness certificate.


just be ready with the essentials ( degree etc .. or provisional certificate in ur case ) .. I guess u ll always get time to collect other docs ( migration et al) ..

regarding loan .. well u can avail it from the SBI branch near the campus .. but I wud say it always depends on ur relationship wid the bank .. if u have gud rapport with them .. u can avail gud ROIs and without much hassles .. fyi the sbi near campus offers ROI of 10.25% ..

for the things u need in the hostel .. u can check one of my posts in the previous pages . or check for the "Survival Kit " topic discussion in the FB community ..

laptop discussion and evry thing else .. u ll find it there too ..

Guys called up adm office I'm, at wl 2. Vishal, Sudheer, Pushkar, Ktima I seriously hope we all get that much awaited mail in a few days :)

thts great news .. I just got the news that another person might withdraw frm the non dom convert list .. so another movement in the non dom list ..

btw any idea how the dom wtlist is doing ?

@crazynitz : are u frm nitc by any chance ?

tht jus goes to show that ter are many people who wont withdraw til the last moment...
so lets hope for the best..

hmm.. surprisingly not much movement in the past 2-3 days
. I still see sm ppl stuck at wtlists of IIMK,NM nitie and the likes .. so hold on folks ..
and yeah .. do expect considerable movement in the week to come ..there might be a few people who will not withdraw uptil the last moment ..
and I think ( personal opinion) movements will happen beyond 20th as well ..
So u might have to run on a short notice ..

keep fingers twisted ..

hope for the best and be prepared for the worst !
