Need to know a couple of things

1) Institute timings.
2) Do we have classes on weekends.
3) What will be the after class hours work be like (assignments etc..., stretching late into the night??).

Any idea will be useful

if there is one class, timings are 9:30 to 12:30, if you have 2 classes, then additional class will happen from 2 to 5.

Usually no classes on weekends, but sometimes we get some guest lectures/ extra classes. But it happens rarely.

For assignments and all, professors give around 1 week to finish. So assignment work can be done on weekends.

Has anyone here played GTA 4 with a Dual core processor??

I have a PC with First Generation Intel Core i3, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 500 GB HDD,nVidia 9600 GT and Windows 7 64 bit... I got the rig in 2010... But I am still not able to run GTA 4 (which released in 2008 ) smoothly... So is it because GTA 4 requires a Quad core processor or do I have a glitchy copy of the game(obtained via Torrent ofc)...

Good that I am not the only one encountering this problem. It was really baffling as I could run the latest resource-hungry game Battlefield 3 easily but not GTA 4.

I was a big GTA SA fanatic so badly wanted to try out GTA 4 because of its rating ....

GTA4 works ok in my laptop.
I3 second generation 2.10GHz, 3GB DDR 3 ram, Intel (R) HD graphics.

College will call waitlisted students in groups. They won't call all wait listed candidates at once.

I have a concern which I want the seniors and ADCom folks to know.
I called up IFMR admissions just now and asked the person a query about loans and SBI contact details to which he rudely replied... when I said that it is urgent and that I live outside Chennai, the person started quarelling with me...
I dont understand that admissions cell is for helping the prospective students or are they good for nothing.... most of the people are outside Chennai and it is not possible for us to travel miles to get our query answered.
So please keep proper persons in admissions cell who can be courteous and help us rather than showing their temper.

Seniors/Mentors plz help me out with this sentence
"The selected candidates should pay a non refundable deposit of INR 75000 before April 30th or before the 60 seats are filled"
Can someone please explain the above sentence??

So greater than 60 calls are sent for just 60 seats

For 60 seats, college has shortlisted 120 students. So first 60 students who pay fees first will b given confirmed admission. Dont worry, you can pay fees before 30th april, dont worry about "first come first serve" rule.
"First come and first serve" rule will be more applicable to waitlisted candidates, u dont need to worry.
