Hey Puys..............sorry for the delay but here is my GD/PI experience
VENUE -JBIMS
CATEGORY- GENERAL
WORK EX - PART TIME
EXPERIENCE - Reached there just in time.....the trains were so crowded! had my gd perfectly at the time mentioned in the hall ticket.
First we were asked to fill out the profile sheet(same as the pdf posted as post no #63 of this thread)we were asked to fill in two copies of the same sheet (for two panelist on the interview panel) we were also given a plain sheet of paper(for our gd) then we had our gd.
There were 3 panelists and they chose an envelope wrote down two topics on the board asked us to choose one.

GD TOPICS:

1)Indian villages strength or weakness
2)Fear is darkness wisdom is light

After 4 or 5 people said they wanted the first one[ gd size 9,rest were absent], one of the panelist said"since majority wants this so is this decided ?" when none of us opposed the other topic was erased off the board.A normal gd commenced...after gd they asked one of the group member to sumarise ('just summarize not ur inputs just summarize' as pointed out by them before the gd commenced.)

After that we were again given time to fill out the incomplete profile sheets and then we went for our PI.
A lot of panels were there for PI.
Two people as panelists ....both oozing experience.........they made u feel at ease and talked abt things that you have written in the profile sheet(mention ur part time experience there....). Basic PI questions....some curent affairs and that was it!

TIPS- 1)Reach atleast atleast half an hour before the time mentioned in the hall ticket.
2) Things to carry- GD hall ticket, a filled in profile sheet for ur convinence...............nothing else was needed.(but u could take ur main hall ticket and a photo id in case something goes wrong).
3)Ensure u take two stamps and two signatures on the GD hall ticket, one after Gd and one after Pi.
4)Relax and Dont get extra nervous Puys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am on the waiting list for MBA-PR but Today i get this letter which says You have been shortlisted for MBA-AD in Bangalore and You can secure your admission by paying 3 laks by April 15.............

SENIORS if you could please answer two questions

1)Why have i been asked to join for MBA-AD when i have applied for MBA-PR ?

&

2)If I do join Bangalore, will I be able to get transferred to pune MBA-Pr, if I clear the waiting list ?

They have put up the list for 52 students does that mean the rest are for SPONSERED QUOTA???????????????????:shocked:

Have you guys got any email/hard copy of call letters for simc pr-mba.?
I am starting to feel real apprehensive now its almost 10 days after the list was put up and I haven't got any response from their side.

Could some one also tell me are salary slips a must, i have my appointment and relieving letter but not the sallary slips, what should i do? its urgent i need to fill in my cet forms also.

First of all congratulations for your success in snap, now lets make it to SIMC and start a new life.

I have a question, I have heard that its a 3 day process(GD/PI etc), so are we suppose to stay at the campus for those 3 days or its like we have to attend it like a few hour session for 3 days in a row. Please enlighten me.

while you filled the form to simc.....there was the option it was first or second , you chose from a dropdownbox.
