Iam not sure how it was in last year, but for my batch and my junior batch, they had released the calls in a PDF file, with which one could arrive at the number of calls per category. PGP 2's can help you by finding it out from the admin office for this year

For the PI (Not only for IIMC)... Two things you need be clear about

1. About yourself: who are you as person, what are your strengths & weakness, the place of your birth, your schooling, graduation etc..I mean, special things about your town, political situation of your state, why you chose a particular discipline in college etc. You need to rewind your own life and see for situations where you have displayed some quality, it can be anything honesty, passion, helping nature etc (keep noting this, whenever you remember)..Understand yourself as a person (nobody else can know you better), be honest and quote examples, wherever applicable during the PI

Personals (questions revolving around you) are very very important

2.Another make or break question is why an MBA (for people with > 5 years of workex, get ready to defend on why not a 1 year MBA)

Now that you have got the call, stop worrying about the individual weights for the final admission, with a good PI you can change the fate....I would like to give an example of my senior Soham ie @somname ...his %le in CAT 2008 was 99.7X and his incoming rank was 11 (shortlisted for Aditya Birla scholarship, for being in the TOP 20 of the incoming batch)..Now you know:)

Point is you all have crossed the elimination phase and now its the selection phase...The 2 areas what I said will more or less ensure if you are matured enough in taking the decision to pursue this course...Any doubts, please PM me
