i m facing the same problem as you... there is no way that my manager will let me let at least before jan... so i ll have to defer as well... do s p jain accept all defferal requests?? do we have to send the deferance request by email or can we mail it along with the acceptance letter?? i v made the inital payment of 2500 yesterday n i ll be mailing my acceptance letter today......

I got an excel from SPJCM asking me to provide all required docs, no problems with that... regarding the letter of deferment, do we need to state any reason for deferment :sleepy:... but i guess they don t want to hear the story.... I can just put in a line stating that the commitment to clients till end of this and finding a suitable replacement and Knowledge transfer blah blah blah..
Please clarify this asap... i am planning to send the agreement tomo, payment by tomorrow afternoon, package by evening...

Ppl who have recieved n offer and sent their acceptence plz help....

in the email with the offer there are 3 attachments... one acceptance letter, an excel sheet and one for visa processing... how exactly are we supposed to communicated our acceptence?? are we just supposed to send them the same acceptance letter or are we supposed to sign on and scan it and sent it via email or some thing else?
and wat exactly are we supposed to do with the excel sheet and the visa doc???

I v applied for GLSCM and i had my eval on 29th august...
I v posted my profile n interview experience earlier... ne way i ll post it again... below...

my profile is like this...
10th cbse--- 82.8, 12th cbse--- 64, B.E mech--- 66.48, spjat--- 92, gmat--- 690(q49,v35),work ex 25 months in IT...

Eval experience---
1. the first essay was some thing like give a brief account of your career progression so far and in wat way do ya think a mba will help ya at this stage. (100 words i think, around half a4 page)
in the same sheet the 2nd essay was... describe one non academic failure and lesson s you learn t from it.(again half a4 sheet space to write)
15 min to write both.

2.A business case on the lines of... if you are a head of a business wat 3 strategies would ya implement for further growth of ya r company( one full page, 15 minutes)

3. then had GD. the batch which was initially of 16 ppl was divided into 2 batch s of 8 each. i think this is done based on ya spec. Our gd topic was--- does india need a dictator. i spoke less but made 3 good points. after the gd every one get s around 30 sec to make their conclusion. the whole gd is recorded.

4. waited in a big auditorium for PI. during this time got my certificates verified.

5. PI--- i think this the the most important of all the rounds... my panel consisted of a elderly gentleman and a lady. the gentleman asked most of the questions... questions were like y supply chain mang, work profile, wat i want after mba, then some general question s (he asked me about cricket and wat i think about dhoni s captaincy etc.)

6. waited for 3-4 min... a lady told me tat i had one more round with the president... the president s interview was pretty short for me... he asked me q's based on my work ex, y i wan t to leave IT and come to SCM, wat benefit s did my work at my company have for my client n stuff like tat...

well that s about it.... as far as my status now... initially my status showed offer on the site and strangely after few day it changed to shortlisted for evaluation and now it s changed to waitlisted. so dont know wat ll happen...

My app id is GLSCM 25130.. i received an offer letter yesterday thru email but the web site is still showin waitlisted... i d like a conformation before i get happy and start making arrangements coz last time my status changed from offer to waitlist on the web site... i would be grateful if you can you plz confirm whether i can take the email to be sure this time...
