Thanks Prashant, I guess the only variable being the hostel fee, the total amount paid would be pretty much indicative of the room type..

btw, which room did u finally decide upon? I see u were confused 6 hrs before you made the payment ! :-)

I had chosen AC double seated...I was confused but I also thought that in case of any changes If I intimate them before 19th my preference can be changed again
As I see that many guys are going for single room non AC...I don't want to be in a separate block and miss all the interaction...

I sent in a mail yesterday regarding the payment of my fees...
I attached the scanned image of the pay in slip(direct deposit to XIMB's SBI acc) ...mentioned my name and xat id ... also provided the choice of my hostel room type...

I got the following reply from the admissions office in reply to my mail
"Your payment of required fee is acknowledged herewith. The money receipt will be sent to you after 19 April. Your choice of hostel room is noted."

Hopefully this can clear the air for the selection of hostel room type ....

I am a bit confused about the hostel...want to stay with the peeps so wanna choose the non-AC single room...but then I am also thinking of taking the AC double seated room....still cant decide

Then P3 said that he was done....Now P2 again steps in and says that P3 is happy with you but I want you to sit here for some time

P2: I had questioned a point in GD...So now P2 asks me why?? and then we had a discussion regarding my stand

P2:Asked about Delhi...a few questions...dunno remember...(told)
P2:Asked about office culture and managers(told)
P2:Asked a logic building question....then asked me about my contribution to last year project..(Told)
And a few more questions that I don't remember...
P2: Ok Last 2 questions then I'll let you go

During the whole process P2 was grilling me big time on my answers and debating the answers...I was nervous but still tried to hold myself....and was smiling..even though P2 was really at his best in criticizing my ans...But P3 used to just smile when i knew that what i have said is correct...he really was the calming effect....P1 used to sometimes chip in and help out... but at times he too used to say 'what are you saying...are you sure'...time just flew by...

Overall it was an awesome experience...They held me up for quite some time and asked me questions from many sectors....I think they wanted to test my awareness outside the computer world...

Only room 2 panel was grilling ...room 1 and 3 ppl had decent PI's

Results to be out on 22nd...
