I am in but 35 Lakhs which by the time I graduate will be a good 44 Lakhs is HUGE!!! Anyone here for a good advice??

Manas31 I feel .. although not sure .. dey said 4 months in each school + 1 month live project in some company in each country ..
so if we go to china then 4 months in SEM + 1 month in company project .. so making it total of 5 months .. so 5 x 3 (india, china & US) = 15 months
plus last 4-5 in XL .. and 1-2 months after 1 st yr .. so total 15 + 4 + 2 = 21 ...
So 21 months is the normal period of any MBA....
PS: JUST PURE SPECULATION

devendersnegi Hi All , Interested candidates, I had a discussion with a Central bank of India Executive regarding the loan. Currently they are ready to give loans amounting to 20Lakh(which could be increased after she confirms with Jitu Singh , program director) at 10.5%. She is going to send me mail regarding the loan process highlights. She also asked for the email IDs of the interested cndidates, Hence I request all interested candidates to share their GMAIL Ids asap so that they can also be sent the details of the loan process.
PS- As per XLRI students Central Bank of India processes loan at least rates and the process is also less cumbersome.

I have applied for PNB loan with collateral .. bt it would be great if we could get loan from Central Bank without any security .. my email is manas.me31@gmail .. plz tell me if you get any more info on it .. i will reapply for central bank if its providing better options or less interest rate than PNB .. thanks for the info shared till now ..

devendersnegi Yes Central bank is giving loan,though just 20lakh@10.5% at the time of my communication with them, without any security.I am forwarding your emailid to the branch manager of CBI,Jamshedpur. Please also share your number .

Below I'll describe you guys my profile.Please evaluate it for BABSON.
I'll be applying for 2014 fall.
Profile:

10th: 82%
12th: 88%
Undergrad: B.E(Hons) Civil .Bits Pilani Passout of 2011. G.P.A- 6.88
Work Experience - It will be 16 months this december.
GMAT 730
Work Experience Details :

1. Campus Job at Dunnhumby in analytics : 4 months(Full time)

2. Ion Exchange India Ltd(India's biggest firm in water management) - Working as a project Engineer.Working in its project management department.Work includes project planning,scheduling and project coordination.... 1 year(Full time/Ongoing)

3. Moonlighting and working part time on weekends for my family business. We own a WATERPARK. And the work I have done here has been very diverse. From Branding, Marketing , Process automation,Operations to getting new business leads /sponsorship/ tie ups etc.
(a) Established dedicated teams in all the departments. 15 member team for social media marketing. A 6 member sales team for new business leads and follow ups.
(b) Also started a loyalty scheme here based on my experience at the analytics firm at the start of my career.Its been a year now.
(c) Revenues have increased 250% and footfall by 100% in the past 1 year.
(d) Our Facebook page now has a reach of 6 Lakh+ target audience.
(e) Sponsorships include 1.5 Lakh & 1 Lakh from Coke and Kwality walls respectively.
(f) Tie ups with Schools/Colleges and Corporates.
By the end of next year (when I'll apply); figures are only going to get better.
4. Going to launch a startup from Feb in Social media Marketing/Internet Marketing.Ground work has been done.But again ,this work will be part time.

Extra Curriculars:
1. Founding member(along with an IFS officer) of an NGO on tiger conservation.Some ground breaking achievements to show in this regard.Achievements like successfully pressuring the government to convert Dara Sanctuary at Rajasthan into a National Park. Relocation of villages inside the sanctuary,along with a huge array of tiger conservation awareness activites.

2. Lots of Extra Curriculars at college.Many leadership positions held.

Now the few drawbacks I feel I have in my profile are as follows:
1. Low undergrad GPA. 6.88/10 . But using WES valuation, on a scale of 4 will be ~ 3.2

2. Work experience shows no big KNOWN brand names.Though the amount of learning and work done in each job has been fantastic but still it leaves the admission panel with some doubts on the credibility.

2. My post MBA aim is to get into management consultancy (M.C) at the top 4 firms. Even if it seems like a far fetched idea ,I just want you guys to look at my profile and tell me whether it will be possible to break into M.C post MBA with my profile.

12th: 88%
Undergrad: B.E(Hons) Civil .BITS PILANI Passout of 2011(Amongst the top institutions in the country). G.P.A- 6.88 (3.2 on a scale of 4)
Work Experience - It will be 16 months this december.
GMAT : 730

Work Experience Details :
1. Campus Job in a retail analytics firm : 4 months(Full time)
2. Ion Exchange India Ltd.(India's biggest company in water management) - Working as a project Engineer in its project management department. Lots of client and vendor management.... 1 year(Full time)(Ongoing)
3. Moonlighting and working part time on weekends for my family buisness. We own a WATERPARK. And I have worked on diverse range of issues here in the past 1 year.Right from its Branding, Marketing , Process automation/forming teams to getting new buisness leads /sponsorship/ tie ups etc.Also started a loyalty scheme here based on my experience at the analytics firm at the start of my career.Its been a year now.Revenues have increased 300% and footfall(No of customers) by 200%.And by the end of next year(Apparently the time when I'll be sending the applications) figures will be much much better.

1. Low undergrad GPA. 6.88/10 . But on a scale of 4 ,based on BITS PILANI indices it will be ~ 3.2.But again I ave sufficient extra curricular experience to back it up.

2. Work experience shows no big brand names.Though the amount of learning and work done has been great but still it leaves the admission panel with some doubts on the credibility.

Please evaluate my profile now.It'll be a huge help.As I have to decide whether going for GMAT will be a good investment or not.What are my chances?
