XAT 2007 Question

Mr. Basu, the managing director of XYZ
company asked five personsAsit, Barun, Chandra,
Danny and Eshitaabout their interest in a new
project. The replies he got were:
Asit: None of us is interested.
Barun: One of us is interested.
Chandra: Two of us are interested.
Danny: Three of us are interested.
Eshita: Four of us are interested.
From his experience, Mr Basu knows that those
who are interested only tell the truth and others
lie. How many of them are interested in the new
project?

So far the marking system in banks is concerned, they ask aggregate score in graduation, i.e. total of Honours and subsidiary papers. I have witnessed it in my banking examinations so far. Moreover I got it confirmed from some of my friends who are currently working in SBI, PNB and BOB.

Since you have mentioned your percentage in honours paper, I would recommend you to justify your stand by -
i) Saying that your University/Institute follows this very pattern of scoring.
ii) Contact the bank officials in advance (whose interviews you are likely to appear in), through phone or email, or go to the LHO in your area concerned. You may give an excuse of technical error while filling the form. But I will say that be honest and aboveboard. Honesty pays a lot.

what is aggregate %age in graduation??? is it considering marks of all the papers including subsidiary or just honours papers???
only hons. papers = 74.75%
hons. + subsy = 70%
wot shud i consider?
i hv mentioned 74.75 in ibps application form.... vl it create ny prob????

DUDE this is Bank PO and not CAT/MAT or any other MBA entrance...academics has nothing to do here.
The only academics bank needs is ur graduation with 55-60 % thats all.

The only players here are ur written score and Interview/GD.

Guys I have few doubts about SBI PO interview, If someone can clarify it over here. Sorry for my ignorance as it was my first govt sector exam so don't know much abt process and documents needed..

In the interview letter they have mentioned abt few documents to be brought while interview. In that they have asked for character certificate from 3 places (school/college, previous employer, gazette officer). So we have to take any 1 or all 3 certificates??

Says

they have asked for service certificate. from that I assume its exp certificate. That I will bring but again they are asking for testimonials from previous or present employer?? Now what is this??
