I am an OHU open candidate-- CET- 162
PAR-4 WE-0
I am hoping for a seat in JBIMS.. the display of provisional merit list will be on 9th june, and sadly, my Infosys joining date is 7th june.. Cud someone tell me how long the admission process continues, and what time approx the the college begins? At a score of 162, with only 9 seats in hand, can i be sure abt JB??? Dont want to b left without a college and a job! :shocked:

i think you should join infy on 7th june and if you get through jb (the chances of which are high i believe), you can quit in 2 days. its not a loss. butif you dont report on the joining date, in any adverse scenario, infy will not take you in then.

Hii.. I solved the previous set and i did not get any of the answers :(
But the solutions have cleared a few concepts on PnC.

I am posting a couple of questions.. I dont know if i am interrupting the flow of the thread but nevertheless..

1.) A ball is dropped from a height of 8 feet and rebounds 6 feet. After each bounce, it rebounds 3/4th of the distance it fell. How far will the ball travel before it comes to rest?


2.) A robot is programmed to move in this way: 1st go 1 km east, turn 90 degrees to go 1/2 km north. Turn left again to go 1/4 km west. After each left turn, the distance is half the previous step. If the robot starts at (0,0), where does it end up?

. If K is a positive integer less than 10 and N = 4,321 + K, what is the value of K?
(1) N is divisible by 3.
(2) N is divisible by 7.

Lets take only statement 1: In this case k could take up values: 2/5/8
Lets take only statement 2: In this case, we get the unique value of K as 5.

Hence, statement 2 is sufficient.

Please help me with these questions... I do not have the answers to these and i dont know how to go about solving critical reasoning questions of this type...
