Well, there are such competitions... !!!!
I guess u hv not heard of Dhruv.. there are loads of management events and games organized during the 3 day period (and Dhruv is quite a hit among Pune colleges.. last time many premier colleges from Pune and Mumbai also participated in the event)
It also had the typical, FIFA 11 and CS 1.6 competitions (CS being organized by me )..

It's worth much more than the colleges whose students are spreading such baseless rumours.
Seriously, if you really think so, then it's better if you personally visit and check and compare with any good college regarding the quality of education, discipline, and management. The life is well balanced here and personally i was satisfied with the curriculum.
Many of us had stayed till 9 PM in the college at many times every month working on projects and assignments keeping us busy round the year.

Also, I guess.. some odd batch getting free by 1:30 on some odd day does not count as college ends at 1:30... !!!!

The ranking posted appears more to be in correlation with CET cutoffs, rather than actual ranking based on any set parameters.

The college had great reverence a few years back bit in a few threads of PUMBA at PG for previous years there show a different story..actually a few were upset with the Faculty and Infra, practical approach and all..
Please this is a requets to seniors/ current Pumbaiite on this thread can u shed some light on the Placement stats, college life currently

I can see the ROI factor also so need no mention or suggets that, Pls mention the placement stats, if this yeras data is unavailable last years data will do(i know data of 2007, 08, 09)

As you have been through previous year thread, you must be well aware of the placement figures for 2009-2011 batch.
I'll just restate it: avg package 5.5 L p.a.
highest 8.5 and lowest 3.2 !!

About placement figures for this year. It can not be disclosed until the placement period is over.
(About the stats for this year batch, as much as I know, it's better than for 2011 batch.. and majority of us are busy with our jobs, trainings and internships.. so u won't find much of us here on PG)
