for that to decide you need to say something more 'bout yourself. In general if you say 'bout market there is not many as such good hardcore HR firms in India. so risk is higher in terms of opting HR as minor. Better you could go for finance if you feel like.

It's a complete old school thought that marketing is meant for boys, believe me gals are doing wonders in marketing. Marketing does requires lots of mental toughness, good communication skill and one need to be extrovert. A guys upbringing in a family in our society is different from girls. Gals are being pampered a lot in their upbringing. But in corporate there is no room of concession for any gender. You are the best person to decide weather or not you will be able to tackle the pressure. But believe me marketing management also brings the best opportunity to excel in your career. To excel in marketing you need to be as cool as cucumber under any circumstances. That's the key to success.

follow your passion, life itself is a challenge, just go for it. Sky is the limit....

I would suggest before rushing into any conclusion you should understand your area of interest. It's not all about just selection of specialization for the sake of doing MBA but you should consider in which trade you can do wonders, you will have to decide about your specialization after completion of your first year, In first year you will come across basics of HR, Marketing, finance, operations etc. Don't bother much.

Doing MBA through correspondence is not a good option because you are experienced to realize that MBA through correspondence has some hidden problems related with it, at the time of promotion you could be victim of internal politics. Even in good organization this could happen. Though I have also got the work experience of 5 years but I am perusing my full time MBA.
