I am sorry bro, i dint had the knowledge regarding placements.
I went through all the posts from the thread of ravisrcc and now i am also confused for srcc.
I will go for interview of course, as i have already converted scit and siom, will reserve my seat in SCIT.
w/l in siib-ib....so it will be more clearer on 16th march.
I had so much expectations from srcc-gbo program but going through these threads has changed my perspective for srcc, the main thing was ROI.
I guess i will join siib-ib or sibm-bangalore if converted....else scit zindabad.....:)

dude in which world you living in......
in every good bschool whether its sibm pune, scmhrd or sibm bangalore.....there are student committees for placements dept......
its management you are studying......every good collg has corporate interaction dept formed by students...even siom too have this....(i know this because many seniors in siom told us in presentation)....

you are going to be a full fledged manager and you have to take responsibilities of somethings...
hence its no negative feedback.......its happening in every bschool...(i have attended almost all symbi ge/pi's and everyone has its own placements dept run by students...)

The world I am living in and my apprehensions were purely based on posts which revealed the other side of SRCC by a guy who alleged that he is studying in SRCC-GBO by the post-:http://www.pagalguy.com/forum/other-exams-xat-iift-irma/72743-srcc-gbo-2012-14-notification-9.html.

As you are stating that you have attended various Symbi's colleges GD/PI, I think you must have not got any -ve feedback from any of the senior. But in case of SRCC getting such a response from senior is scary. So, please first read what I stated in my posts, search for it and then comment. Don't just blurt out your ideas.

Dude..congrats for your conversion .....but you really got to check out the status of GBO in SRCC. I got some negative feed-backs about it.

i hv converted SIOM and I am also in merit list of GBO but skeptical about joining it. So, if you have some positive feed-backs please share it.

Made it in the merit list .....

But rank is very low in gen category......very less chances of converting.

Also, got intimation from previous year's posts that management of SRCC doesn't help in providing placement to students of GBO and the placement committee is manged by students itself.

Please anybody aware of some facts on above mentioned issue throw some light to make final decision of attending GD/PI.

Hi Everyone...

Students who will be sending their DD will get a confirmation mail from the Admissions Dept., indicating their confirmation of the seat.

Also, those willing to withdraw their seat before the commencement of the classes will have to send a mail to admissions@siom.in along with a written hardcopy of the same posted to SIOM. Their cheque will be reimbursed to them after receiving the hardcopy of cancellation. The whole process of cancellation will take atleast 12-15 days.

Also, needed to know which will be preferable way(from courier or speed post) of sending our DD and documents? If thru courier then which of the courier service you will recommend so that there are least chances of mishandling?

Made it in the merit list....thanks to all seniors for sharing their views at Pagal guy......it really made a difference during the process.

Also, I needed to know if we send our DD by post then will we get any confirmation from SIOM by mail or any other means that they have obtained our DD and our seat is secured?
