If such things persist, then I guess we will have to personally deliver the another huge installment of fees in April-May, instead of sending it via courier or speed-post..!

I had converted IMT-G ( Finance ) and will in almost all probability join the course. I would like the seniors at college to clarify some of my doubts regarding the course.

1) Do all the courses have a common syllabus in the first year as in a general mba?

2) I am interested to move to marketing. Is a swap possible and if so when?

3) Regarding the education loan. The college recommends Central Bank of India. Is it the best option and what would be the terms and conditions?

1. The core courses are common for the first year, as per the link here... Core Courses

2. Upgradation of specializations as per your preferences will take place in due course of time. You just need to have patience to wait and watch till the date you join.

3. Regarding the education Loans, discussions are still going on and some of our friends and seniors have shared the info mentioned on previous few pages. You may please refer those.

Well its totally possible to take whatever percentage of loan you want to talke from the bank and the rest from personal finances. Since IMT offers payment in installments you can choose to pay the initial installments yourself and going for a bank loan later. (This would help you save some interest)

For an exact plan you will need to decide what are you planning to pay for yourself. In this regard I found the people at credila very helpful as they would sit you down professionally and advice you on how they can offer a different breakup for you according to how much money you want to pay yourself. SBI people were a little lethargic. No offence.

I can understand your anxiety regarding such a huge amount of money. Rest assured when taking a loan from a reputed bank/lender everything is really well documented.

A bank can never come and say that somethings are "understood." If its not on a paper that you've signed, its not valid and you can take them to court.

Word of caution: The people who ussually refer to hidden costs are those that read a brochure for the loan in which a lot of *** marks are present saying T&C; apply.

These T&C; will be clearly documented page after page on a document that you sign when taking the loan. What I would suggest is that you keep ample amount of time when you go to complete the formalities and make sure you actually sit and understand all the T&C; like late EMI charges/early prepayment charges. That way you won't end up paying more money than you want because you misunderstood something and incurred a hidden charge.

Dear freind,plz ask those whimsical panelists nd management if dey hd d prerogativ f throwin students away into any f their campuses.
nd regardin money wasted,ask them 2 cum out wid seperate frms or let studnts clearly choose there areas nd campuses f interest.
speakin abt malingnin d inst's name,atleast d truth shud cum out 4m our side if nt theirs..

P.S seeing sum f d posts f those who 've convrtd imt,i think imt has done a great job gettin such people in who can market s**t.

We have no right to malign any institution in a public forum.. if u don't want to join an institute or if the institute doesn't select u, nothing is gonna change with this sort of remarks on the institute...
