It was raining heavily in Sanquelim but GIM was not drenched....because the best was yet to come.There was a massive build up for the day and as the clock stuck 9 in the evening the Multi Purpose Hall started to roar.
As the PGP1s performed one after the other, the crazinesss started to creep in. Every bathroom singer became Enrique and Every feet tapper was better than Michael Jackson. While some of the performances mesmerised the audience and found people dumbstruck, many others were greeted by cheers which were louder than the loudspeaker.
They say a swimming pool is under construction in GIM...but after watching this pool of talent comprising of singers, dancers, actors, musicians
who needs the swimming pool anyways.By the time this carnival got over, It was 3:30 in the morning and everyone was as fresh as a daisy.

Like many of us I have not received the hard copy of my admission letter. I sent a mail to admissions office asking for the consignment no and got a reply saying that "We will send you a duplicate copy". So, nothing to worry. Sit tight n Relax. It will come.

After the professional manner in which GD/PI was conducted, I was expecting IIT-R to be the first IIT to come up wid results. Unfortunately, it didnt happen. and with such rumours floating that results may get delayed i feel it will hurt the reputation of the institute a bit.
No Groans please. Just got a bit emotional.

People on Sabbatical are not allowed to sit for placements.... Until you have a leaving letter from your organization you will not be allowed to appear for the placements.
